Morning India, welcome to the CD thread :T

The programe is tricky, basically you can go on SS or SS+ for 12 weeks at a time. Once you have completed the 12weeks you need to go up to the 810cal plan before you are then able to go back onto SS if you need to lose more weight. You can only stay on SS/SS+ untill your bmi is 25 + 1stone. You then start working up the plans and before you get to maintanace you should have lost that spare stone. You then use mataince to stick to your new weight.

The food packs are great, its up to your own taste though. I used to have about 5 flavors of shakes from the 9 flavours and then one of the tertras (pre made shakes) out of the 3. I am now down to 1/2 but thats just me. I dont like porriage or soup though. They do fill me up but the water helps (you need to drink at least 2.5litres of pure water) and also if you make them into slush with ice they are nicer imo. The first 3/4 days are hard though and I was hugry most of taht time but if you stay focussed its soon over :j

Any other questions just ask away :A

    Hi Pap,
Can I have one of those day 3 smilies please, cool!!

Not had anything so far yet today except black coffee.
Had to take my car in for a service so elected to walk to the train station rather than get a lift.
Need to get some water down me and will wait now for my lunchtime tetra.
  • Indeed you can Duncan

    hey gang,

    I am back again:rolleyes:

Started back on cd yesterday and have loads to lose. First mini goal is to hopefully lose 21lbs for a wedding at the beginning of August.

Day 1 good, day 2 woke up hungry but soon got over it.

I have done cd before and know it can be sucessful. Was doing ok when I was doing cd earlier this year and then hurt my back. Starting physio next month and know I need to shift the weight in order to make things better and to make me feel better.

hope you are all having a good day.

    Hi Bindiboo,

Good luck! I love the first couple of weeks, even the feeling lousy, cos it almost reinforces that somethings happening.

Its the bored complacency I'm desparately struggling with at the moment!!

hey gals! Bindi, welcome back... hi to india/cathy and any other newbies!

I'm seeing new CDC tonight, quite looking forward to it, although wish it wasn't such a distance from me.... i want to weigh in each week for the discipline but don't want to make the 40 mile round trip each week....

still i'm setting myself a stone in 4 weeks target so it's not gonna be for long if i do decide i need to go each week,
I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....
    (it's part of my charm!)

hey gals! Bindi, welcome back... ,

Thanks good to be back and back to losing weight. I felt so hot and bothered as I walked to collect son no 3 from school. I hated it, need to get down a size r 2 and get back into my comfortable skin.

Keeping really busy with decorating this week as I am off work (holiday!!!! ) Twins have gone to Germany with school for 4 blissfull, peacefull nights:p

Aching atm from all the painting today and yesterday..............but least it gives me less time to ponder about stuffing my face:o

    Hi Everyone

Well i am on day two and feeling fine! I am drinking loads of water and had the first test of having to cook the kids tea plus my frined came over and i resisted the lovely cakes she brought..feeling very proud of myself! Today had made me realise how much of eating is out of habit as i haven't been that hungry but its would have been very easy to have picked on bits and bobs without realising it.

Just a couple of questions if thats okay? What do those that work do with ref to preperation? I had a carton, tretra, yesterday lunch which was very nice but had it walking back from lunch as i don't really want people to know what i am doing yet lol! I think i will have to have them on working days and then at home have the shakes.

Also my cdc says its fine to have diest coke as at a recent confernece it was discussed and i think just one can a day will stop me getting diet cake withdrawal! What teas can you have, is it right that you can have leaf ones but not fruit?

Maz- good luck with your new cdc, i read about your prev one..hope this ones better!

bindiboo- i know what you mean about the school run and feeling hot and bothered..such a good incentive to carry on!

India- i am on day two and have enjoyed the shakes and the veg soup although i think i made the porridge a bit thick yesterday so going to try that again in the morning! I am fiinding it good not to have to think about food although it is strange with dh eating on his own and we don't have any social things coming up in the next few weeks so i should have a good run of it without feeling too much pressure. I am really focusing on a good lose next week and hoping that will keep me going..good luck if you do decide.

I'm off to decide what to have..cold shake or a veg soup
