    HI Guys

Some of you may know i'm having family problems, the other thread is still there, and it is still an upsetting time for all.

1st few days i couldn't eat and lost weight, then i went the other way, a few nights on the wine (not good) and over that now, plus a few blips with the food.

But i'm on track today, i was yesterday until daughter made a lovely pasta meal, and i ended up having a cereal bowl full

But today so far, i'm 1 shake down 1 lt of water, and feeling good.

postingalwaysposting, that video was fantastic i watched it tiwce.

i loved the girl in the red bikink, and near the end the girl sat in the chair, wearing a blue t-shirt,

All were fantastic and had achieved loads
    thanks for that video

    good luck all

and welcome to the thread laurap75

    hello my dear CD chums!

I'm back from my weekend away, was eating and drinking normally so as of today i am fully back on board. Seeing new CDC on thursday night!

According to scales i was staying the same all month, which is brill, but today i have gained 1lb, however i'm cool with that cause i was eating and did drink a bit of wine.. (first time in months!!!)

I'm pushing myself thru the pain barrier today as i know i'm gonna find it tough to be 100% after being relatively lenient on myself in the last few weeks...

This is me, back in the habit, giving myself the rest of june and all of july to shift this 1-1.5stone and get below 11stone.... Then am on holiday, then will review upon my return and see where my goal will be then.

    Welcome Laura!
I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....
    (it's part of my charm!)

So how did your weekend away go Maz, have been dying to hear all about it.

Pap, I was doing OK today on water and shakes, but have ended up having some chicken and coleslaw for my tea.

Only cheated so I can see what your naughty girl smilies are like, :rotfl:
Have to bee good for the rest of the week, going to sort out my wardrobe at the weekend which will involve trying clothes on and seeing what I need to get for my hols.:D
  • Hi I started last Friday and would love to join this group too. I had intended to start this Monday as we had a curry nite planned with friends on Saturday nite. As I was eating everything as if it were my last supper and the packets were in the cupboard I though I might as well just go for it. I was weighed Monday and have lost 3 lbs in three days plus eating curry and drinking wine which was great ! I am being 100 percent good now since sunday so am now 3 days down.

I have never drunk so much water but am actually enjoying this diet and hoping that I can stay on it until 30th July ( cousins wedding ). I cant believe how much time I seem to have now I think I just spent my whole day eating :(.
The only trouble I can forsee is having to cook dinner for my little ones and other half so I am trying to cook meals i dont like ( that they do ) .

Oh I like those unsmilies, (not too much of course - I don't want to collect any more) don't they look so sad, its amazing what can be conveyed in such a simple way. I like the day two happy smilies, I'm going to have to work hard today to see what we get for day 3!!!
All good so far, got up early and treated myself to mmmmm, chocolate mint shake, black coffee and half litre water and had it in bed!
    Then got up for work!!

Tor, its amazing how good this diet makes you feel, thats why I get so fed up when I let myself down.
After a couple of weeks you start to feel amazing, full of energy, bouncy even.

The biggest problem for most people I think is temptation, boredom, complacency(once you have been on it a while) and socialising.
It will be a help for you if you try and work out in advance what you think your triggers might be and think of ways to counteract them.
I might walk the dog, if the family go to the chippie for tea, or being tired is one of my problems, I tend to impulse eat, so I go in the bath and have a bit of a pamper.
Some people give themselves a manicure, you can't pick when your nails are wet, and some people find the smell puts them off.

Anyone else any tips to share! I could do with a few new ones.

I also did a post a while ago about half a pound on, half a pound off, that can help you a little if you manage to stop and think for 5 minutes before you pick.

I'll see if I can find it and post it again.

I'm being good at work, but falling apart in the evenings too:mad:

I think a lot of it is because I havent been drinking enough water:rolleyes:

So, I've been having a serious talk to myself. Need to get back on the straight and narrow.

So, average loss is 1 stone each four weeks. Although this will fluctuate over the period we can reasonably assume that for 2 weeks, you should lose around half a stone, so for a week it is not unreasonable to lose 3.5 lbs.
Thats half a pound loss EVERYDAY:T. IF you stay focused.

So you need to remember, next time you reach in the fridge for that little bit of ham, or just finish something off the kids plate.
That is a whole half a pound you are giving up:eek:.

Then consider, if you go for more than the ham, and have say Omlette and chips and gravy and curry and peas from the chippie. Followed by a Maltesers ice cream. Not only will you give up that half a pound, you will get another half a pound back for your excesses, so will wipe out the previous day that you were wonderfully angelic.

So my new Mantra must be "half a pound off or half a pound on", "half a pound off or half a pound on" etc.........

So, new day new start, I have my 750 mils of water, must drink at least this by noon.

Hope this helps anyone...... Will keep you posted on my progress:rotfl::rotfl:
    Found it!!
It got lost in a bit of an off topic conversation about shoes!!!
