I agree with opening windows - front and back for a good blast through!0

As the last post. Open windows , even open one notch helps and always a bedroom window open slightly even in winter .
Fresh or dried Lavender perfumes all fabrics etc .
Finally , teach all the family to pee on their feet once a day to stop foot rot !

Definitely open the windows every day! We have dogs and if we didn't open the windows the doggie smell would build up very quickly. Same with cigarettes - DS smokes and we always know when he's home! Problem easily solved by opening the windows. Not too keen on "smells to mask smells" IYSWIMResolution:

Joss sticks, if you can get them cheap enough, work for me

Its nice to know somebody else has this problem. I don't think there can be a more insidious smell than weed. Even with the house buttoned up in winter in still manages to leak throughThe World come on.....0 -
I hate the smell of having the deep fat fryer on in the house but the kids love home made chips so I put the chip fryer on an extension lead and cook them in the garden.........we only have chips when it isn't raining:rotfl:0

I'm another one for opening the windows, all day, every day. I only leave them closed in the very depths of winter when you need the heating on.0

Another one for opening windows as well
We are all asthmatic in our house and can't use anything but natural deoderisers, so I use bicarb and a baby talc mix and sprinkle on the rugs to keep them fresh smelling.
I also mop the floors daily using orange cleanerBlessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light
