SEROUSLY Overcharged on Postage by Seller....

If she hasnt changed the wording on her auctions I would also be tempted to file a "not recieved" claim. However, when Paypal find in your favour and refund you send her the payment for the item, plus "fair" postage in line with what she actually paid.
May make her think twice.0 -
There is an option in Paypal to dispute the postage, use that. You paid for a service you didn't receive so you have every right.0

Same here, I have never come across a paypal dispute for wrong postage, if this is a new feature I'd love a link as I'll add it to the FAQ.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I'd definitely file a dispute as above poster suggested disputing postage. If she's made a mistake in her wording then that's her fault not yours. Once the dispute is over then leave the relevant feedback.0

Just tried to register my dispute with paypal over the postage and this is the message I got:
Thank you for registering your complaint about this transaction. Unfortunately, this type of transaction is not eligible for PayPal dispute resolution. We encourage you to continue to work directly with your seller, as we have found that many misunderstandings reach amicable solutions through communication.
Does anyone know if there is any other way to get my money back?:mad:1st Aim = Pay off Virgin CC - £3929.110 -
Strangly enough it will let me escilate it to a claim though which I'm ok about as the seller made it very clear they weren't going to be refunding me the excessive postage charges of their own free will.
Edit: It seems to have closed the case down straight away stating:
We're unable to decide this claim in your favour at this time. PayPal's Buyer Complaint Policy applies to the delivery of goods but not to disputes about merchandise quality.1st Aim = Pay off Virgin CC - £3929.110 -

Will ebay let you register a dispute on there instead?? When is the concert?? If it's really close you could tell the seller you are returning them and open a dispute for 'items not as described'. She may decide to pay back the postage rather than receive the tickets back after/or close to the concert and not have time to sell them again.0 -
My claim isn't tickets it was for a bit of clothing (if you see the last page I tell my story there).cheetahthechimp wrote: »Will ebay let you register a dispute on there instead?? Because I paid with paypal it doesn't seem to want to let me claim through ebay annoyingly!:mad:1st Aim = Pay off Virgin CC - £3929.110
