SEROUSLY Overcharged on Postage by Seller....

This is just my cynical side speaking, op, but have you used the tickets to the event yet? I'd be tempted to say wait to leave the neg until afterwards, or she may well report them as lost/stolen and you be turned away at the door. I'd defo be taking th ebay invoice with me in any event to support that they were bought legitimately as she sounds a nasty piece of work.It aint over til I've done singing....0

I think the main issue in this case is the fact that the buyer thought they were getting a service, but they didn't get it. Forget the price, everyone can see the postal costs before they bid so it's up to them if they want to pay it.
At the end of the day, you got your tickets, no doubt the seller may find themselves with bad feedback if they continue to do what they are doing, or even in a dispute.0 -

I'll take it up with eBay and Paypal regarding her blatant lies and mis-selling....and neg her to warn others of her game.
Thanks to those who offered advice,

Thank you but my lovely new DFS sofa was promised for Thursday and arrived Thursday delivered in a DFS van with two experienced people to build it, test it and fit it into the correct space.
If it had turned up in the back of a transit van and left on my doorstep then I would have complained and insisted my delivery charge returned as it was not what I paid for. I might even have gone as far as to reject the sofas as I paid for installation as that was include din the delivery charge.
That's what is at issue here, not how much was charged but the service used.
Mike, consider the neg carefully..a well worded one can do a selller a lot more damage that one left in temper. make sure you cast doubt on the seller, ideally you want other buyers to read it and be completely warned off.
I've seen some sellers with a few negs and have still bought as the negs left for them seem petty, but on the other hand there are a couple of sellers that have almost perfect feedback yet I have avoided because the neg has really concerned me.
soolin and supermezzo,
I won't leave a neg until after the gig, which is only a week away ( good suggestion  ), and when I do leave the neg it 'll be in the cold light of day, rather than a petty rant which would make me sound spiteful ( thanks for the advice, soolin  ).
As I said, I have no objections to anyone charging a bit extra to cover their time or WHY, that's not what my point is about...it's about the seller lying. If nothing else, if the tickets had gone astray, she's not even covered for the value of them, which is daft from her point of view!!
Thanks again for the good advice, I'll button my lip til the gig is over.....:A

So the seller is out of order for sending that email, but your comments on here are acceptable?
.
Well i think there is a huge gulf in the profanity of the email received by the op and the nastyness of it compared with my comments.
It just gets annoying when one or two people insist on following you around and making snide comments everytime you express your opinion.
perhaps i did make a couple of jibes back at them but i am not following them around the boards of mse just looking to pick a fight......so maybe your critism is aimed in the wrong direction?0 -
You should raise a dispute regardless, with the item "significantly not as described", and for a partial refund (ie. the difference between the quoted and actual P&P).
In you feedback not the postage issue and say "Dispute raised".0 -
I just had the opposite of this, a book at 99p, postage was £2.79.
It arrived, and had cost £4.41 to post (just over 1kg).
As the seller had actually lost money on this, I emailed them and offered to pay them £1.75, as a gift, through paypal. This was a week ago, and I've had no response yet.
They haven't left feedback either.
Ebay can be a strange place at times.0 -
i'd say this doesn't warrant the term "Seriously", or the use of capitals.
i was expecting a big overcharge, i was SERIOUSLY dissapointed.:grouphug:
no wonder he has a smile on his face...0 -
Don't do that- any feedback mentioning the dispute process can be removed by ebay. You should raise a dispute regardless, with the item "significantly not as described", and for a partial refund (ie. the difference between the quoted and actual P&P).
In you feedback not the postage issue and say "Dispute raised".This is my opinion. There are many others like it but this is mine:kisses2: Fiancee of the "lovely" DaveAshton :kisses2:I am a professional ebay seller. I work hard at my job, I love my job, if you think it's silly that's your problem not mine.

It's likely that they received a large number of repots after being "featured" on here. Most likely as being a business seller not displaying their contact details.
If they are indeed NARU'd, then no feedback can be left, negative or otherwise.<--- Nothing to see here - move along --->0
