I find that connection is difficult after 4 pm. every day, (the kids are out of school by then!) but was told that it is also because this is the time that the USA goes on line! Can't see how that would affect Fast4 though!. Usually get connected after 6 to 8 tries.

Yes I am still waiting for that "offer I cannot refuse" deal!on BB. At present Tiscali are offering the same deal as AOL but at 1mgb rate and at £15,99 per month. Both are 12-month contracts. This makes it almost worthwhile changing but I am going to hold on a bit longer and see if anything better comes along. It looks as if we are the only ones left from the FAST 4 CLub originals!

No, I never did. the other one you sent looked too complicated and as I have been able to log on before 10 attempts, I have not bothered. I did like the 1st dialer though, but there must be a problem with neurobridge.com as it is impossible to get their website or send them
e-mail.

Service is absolutely CRAP.....!!!!

Im normally with Onetel for Unlimited Internet which is far far far better. I cancelled with them as i was going away on a 2 month course with work so therefore i did not want to pay the £13 each month, so went with Fast4.net knowing it was a degraded service from the poor Customer - Connection Ratio (think its 9 customers - 1 connection). It was £6.99 at a bargain, but the service was absolutely useless. Could not connect to the Internet at all. Could use there 1p a min connection without any problems, but when i emailed them about this problem nothing was done. I would leave the laptop to redial for a connection, and put it on a 1second redial and would go watch a movie. To come back and it still not connected.

When you log into the Fast4.net website members area, the time remaining was 168:00:00 (hrs:mins:secs).....


Dont go with this firm they are crap and they know they are. I do hope they are reading this, as they sign you up for a service which you cannot use. You want a internet connection where you can select to connect, and it connects and not have to wait. I resolved it by using my BT dial up PAYG service for when i wanted to use the net in a rush.

Save the £££ and spend it on the 1p a min service from the other providers.



I hope they are reading this as this is a low cost / low quality service. You definately get what you pay for with this service.

Sorry Alias_Omega that you had a bad experience with Fast 4, but I could not disagree more with your opinion! There must have been something wrong with your access as I have had no problems with Fast 4 for some time now, except during the early evenings (peak period), when it takes up to 10 attempts to get connected. But during the day and late evenings, absolutely no probs. And I am still on the £5 per month deal!!

I agree with "The Loft" The Fast 4 service has been fine for me and i can connect after a few attempts. Excellent Value For Money!!!

Again, this was the 2nd time i signed up with them. First time i experienced some problems, but did manage to connect. Then i cancelled as i wanted a more reliable connection. When i went on the course in feb for a month, i required a internet connection that was free to dial up, but not as much demanded as any other. I could not connect, and emailed the firm many times for which the basic reply of that during busy periods you will get no connection hence the 'incorrect password' error. I could log into the website, and dial up on the PAY-G connection but not the connection given too me. I faced 4 weeks of not being able to connect and resorted to using BT's pay as you go connection for which dialed up without fail.

In this case you pay for what you get, and i go nothing for my £5. I got the joys of waiting for a connection for which i cannot use. I have gone onto the £14.99 a month Gamerz connection from Onetel which ensures 6hrs without disconnection which is ideal as normal dial ups are £13.99 a month.

Naa, Fast4Net get a bad ripping into when someone cross me there name.

There definate off my list of ISP subscribers.

Alias_Omega - Most Odd! Other users seem to be happy, but you must speak as you find, it does happen that some get an OK service with some providers, while others do not. On the Cheapest Broadband Provider thread, Tiscali gets a hammering, but my son has it and is quite happy!
