Unfortunately all these download sites seem to have "access denied". This was one I had previously tried. There must be something amiss with the originators. I have even had one sent to me via e-mail and even this won't work either. I think I'll give up, and try to find something else.

I have to say that since my last post Fast4 has been brill. and great value.
Having said all that I am still waiting for that super duper Broadband offer, which I know will come along soon !! Or am I dreaming? Reason is I still have an extra phone line, which is handy at present if her indoors is chatting on the phone, but of course BB does away with that prob.

And I thought you were hibernating !! If you read my post properly, it does mention that I am waiting for the right deal to come along to do away with the extra line. BUT, I am only paying £5 per month for Fast4 plus £10.50 BT line rental. OK, I can get BB for this per month, but I have the set-up costs, modem, filters, and would have to have some internal telephone wiring done. PLUS as mentioned it is useful to have the extra phone line at times. No, I am not saving money but do not have to fund an installation either. :D

Of course I was aware of this offer, but I am not keen on signing up for a year. With all the competition, BB prices are coming down, so am watching and waiting, and quite happy with Fast 4 for the time being.

  • I would like to say that i have just been disconnected from their "unlimited" service for too much usage .... i was using it for about 12 hours average each day, with NO downloads at all! no notice was given. worth noting.
I have gained from advice as well as bargains here, so if I can help in any way, I am only too pleased to do so and appreciate your thanks.

That is ridiculous, not giving you any warning. Presume you were on the basic package ? I will send them a message on their website asking why.
