Hi all- love reading your posts -omg just noticed it's after midnight, time flies. I just read Mel's post and saw that folders were mentioned and remembered that I got a right shock this afternoon when I nearly slipped on something at the side of the bed by the window (not the side I sleep on) and it was my Christmas folder! I had been reading it late last night in bed and threw it on the floor and totally forgot about it..

Today in the library I put back a book I found on the shelf called 'Herbal Gifts' as I felt I was going to give myself a 'too many options' type headache LOL.

    Morning Everyone

Hope your all having a nice sunday so far, Ive been up since 5am with DS1 and OH who have just left to go to RAF Cosford for the Airshow, so have peace and quite at the mo, just me and the dog sat here watching rubbish telly.

Managed to get quite a bit done this week, but still got a list as long as my arm of jobs to do, I'm setting myself the challenge of sorting out my folder this week and printing all the stuff off so I can get super organised (yeah right.....maybe one day LOL, when I have a maid and a full staff to help...)

    Catch you all later

    Sarah

    Hi all

Hope you have a nice day Sarah with that free time for yourself.

I got up early thinking I heard the doorbell and rushed down believing it must be the postman LOL. I've done that before on a Sunday too.

I couldn't believe what I discovered today - I was doing an update on my organising files and discovered that sometime in the distant past I'd written down a long list of unusual project ideas. I thought that some of them seemed familiar. Then I realised where I had seen them recently - I spent hours earlier in the week writing exactly the same list in another notebook! Memory must be bad
  • If you're making a birthday cake for someone, how much earlier than the birthday date would be best to make it?

    Hi everyone :hello:

I'm a complete Christmas fanatic and would love to join in!
I was lucky enough to get a good start on this year's Christmas pressies in the Boots 75% off sale, and am more or less now sorted for everyone except my Boyfriend and close family.
I need to get organised and list everything in a spreadsheet so I know what I've bought for who (& where I've put it!!)
I will have a look at the organizedchristmas website in preparation for the next Rudolph day (v excited about this!!)

A friend found a super deal in Boots today- a great glitch on presents for men. This was orginally found by Rubylou on the Boots grabbit thread :T
There are 2 types of Ted Baker mens wash bags, containing body wash, body spray and some eau de toilette. The RRP is £14.67 but they are currently half price at £7.33. They are on 3 for 2, but the till deducts the half price saving three times, making it £7.33 for 3 bags :D This is a cracking offer as it works out that they are £2.45 each, for nearly £15 of goodies!
    Explore wash bag
Explorer wash bag (This is called Navigate in store)
I hadn't been able to find any near me, but a very kind friend spotted them and got me some :D So I am now sorted for all male pressies for the rest of the year now :j
Hope that will be of some use to somebody :)

SugarSpun It seems like two seconds since you announced you had caught the pregnancy bug from the thread (hehe!!) and now you are so close to the end. I am so excited for you. How did your steak go? Did you have that in the end? I bet your OH was very excited to share this tradition with you and prepare it all. A man who buys shoes is definitely one to keep ;) I am glad you had a nice time xx

I'm excited too - we're still not ready for her to turn up, but we're getting close. We just need to get the nursery ready and bring in the piano that's currently still in storage.

The steak was beautiful, and we just had the leftovers as Birthday Dinner Redux - romanesco, potatoes and steak with bernaise sauce. Mmmm. Who cares that we started eating at 10pm?! It was a really nice birthday and 30 has been good to me so far.

    How's yourself?
