Thanks BunBun/ Furry, my kids love making and doing, oh and all things DR WHO (might have to try and make them round this) Any suggestions would be great.
I got them Lego ones last year that cost £12,99 each:eek: Will not be doing that again, they did enjoy them though and they got a little thing to make each day.

well had a play about with empty tin today with the alcohol inks im gonna be using on the tins that will hold the cocktail recipes and wasnt as bad as i expected it to.i only have red and turquoise inks and think i will need another colour and i think they do something that can blend the colours i will have to hunt about on you tube for some more ideas.
i didnt have the felt inkers to apply the ink so i wrapped a bit of felt around a clothes peg which worked ok
i will have another go with more colours and if someone can do an idiots guide to putting photos on here i will post some
didnt do much more today as was so hot again but lots of ideas from here in my lil old head
hope everyone else had a good day

Without being cheeky have you got a budget in mind?
From dad being 60 to 70, hes had
Trip light airplane - got to take controls (I pd £35 - be about £60 to £80)
4 x 4 off road experience £99
hot air ballons - didnt use Virgin used a local company - £150
Last yr 4 his 70th he had a 2 hr Rally Driving Experience - £60
Those were big trips, he's done hot air ballon twice, he loves it, we saved money from surveys, vouchers etc and it paid for one.
xxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -

Hi
I think will still cover all Occasions too...I hope so:D
Have you thought of doing them those survival kits, I'm sure there is a tread somewhere on them if not you can find them all over the website, they contain little silly gifts to help cope with different things they are really cheap to make and alway bring a good giggle, I did one for my cousion last year who turned 21, then gave him £21 in 20p and 1p's LOL great fun.
As for Main pressies, how much are you looking at spending and what are they into? Gadgets, footy, real ale??
You can get all sorts of things personalised etc... that make great gifts for mile stone birthdays

If you need to save money or don't want to spend loads you can mix in craft or other activities in the countdown to christmas hamper. I did it last year and we did things like go and look at christmas lights whilst dressed in jammya, watching a christmas film together, making various christmassy things, have a list somewhere!!
I think I will be doing that too, mine love making things so would be ideal... did you number each activity or did you do like a lucky dip?
Really need to think of a great way to wrap the main pressies up this year, last year I used an enourmous box filled with blown up small balloons then filled it up with individually wrapped DR Who figures... The kids loved it... the litte one spent most of the morning inside the box with the Balloons LOL...
Any ideas Welcome...

No thats not cruel, it was one of the ideas we had already thought about. Elsdest will be 9 and youngest 6 at christmas, the other idea I think was mels from last year was to tie them all to helium balloons so they were on the celing LOL:D:D:D:D
