Morning Ladies,

I finished making two more make up bags last night and 7 pocket tissue holders so thts all my sewing done now for Christmas. What am I going to do with myself now lol.

I read up on your posts from last night and see the name of this thread has changed, so where do we now organise ourselves for through out the year like birthdays etc? Would it be on Jammys thread or is that just for talking about making a bit of extra cash etc and being money neutral? May be I got up a bit too early this morning lol and my brain isnt in gear yet (been up since half 5!).

Forgot to add I managed to get another Seeds of Change choc bar yesterday at last with a voucher I had for £1 off so now have 3 of them put by for an organic themed hamper for Xmas for my bro and Sis. Think I will get some more bits nearer the time may be from the local farm shop or something. May be put a bit of straw in the bottom of the basket to make it look rustic.

Just buy him lots of those white bone things that look rather fake. Keeps my dog quiet for hours. He's 5 months so I guess it'd be the same for a 7 month lol. It'll keep him out of your way while you're doing stuff at Christmas!

I am itching to go and wander around the shops to get some Christmas bargains, I have £60 in boots vouchers to use, just trying to convince oh that it is a good idea.

Sounds like a good idea to me lauhen! Might be a good idea to wait until the 3for2 offer thing though before you use all of them? Unless there's a sale of course. My local superdrug has 10p sales sometimes. You can get alsorts for 10p as well, not just junk.

I think I might have overdone the Christmas books lately, as I picked up a copy of Good Housekeeping Christmas in the libary today and hastily put it back, feeling that I just couldn't face it!

I agree we are still early compared to most people tho I am sure I am not the only one who started getting Christmas stuff in the January sales!!!!
