I absolutely love christmas and would love to join in.
I start getting ready for christmas every year around july and I've just brought my first two purchases today albeit not christmas presents but something to get me in the mood, I got two dvd's in a sale one was Santa who for £1 and the other Barney christmas star for £2 I was really pleased.
Things are going to be a little hectic this year as I have a DS who's 7 a DD who's 2 both of their birthdays are late November and a new edition due in early January so I really need to get cracking, can't wait to get to know everyone and find out how we're all doing.0 -
Hello becky!
I usually start about now as well, although I've actually started earlier this year. I hope you manage to get everything done in time, what with a new arrival in January and two important birthdays at the end of November!.Sometimes.I.Wonder.Why.I'm.Still.Here..Sometimes.I.Think.I'm.Going.Crazy.0 -

wow, thread has been busy. Not really picked up anything today but started learning to knit yesterday so picked up some needles and a little bit of wool at the charity shop to practice on.
Got some more ideas for gifts anyway, need to find some chutney recipes and some old jam jars, nothing huge needing done just now- one step at a time always works well when you have the time to plan it and everything seems so much more relaxed and not as daunting. Or at least for me I feel that way hehe.0 -
for those of you that remember me talking about making cocktail hampers and using alcohol inks on the tins well ive finally remembered not to squash down empty tin cans so i can practise on them
someone-cant remember who laughed at me about using empty baked bean tins but no im using chopped tomato tins lol
will keep you posted as to how it goes

Morning everyone
Feeling a bit tierd this morning after the long day yesterday, but feeling in the mood for getting things done.
Had a lovely time at the Airshow, got loads of Freebies for the kids and a few for me and the OH, got some lovely cloth bags with RAF on them and long handles for a £1 which are going away as gift bags for pressies, so recipients can re-use them (Even got my self one;)). And managed to get my Dad a Cartoony print of the Nimrod, Which he used to work on when he was in the RAF, which I will be framing for him as his Xmas Pressy, Great bargin Price of £5.
Had a look round the craft tents and got a few Ideas for my folder too.
I'm off to make another Coffee now and get some bits sorted out, will catch you all in a bit.
