right girlies - I need gold wrapping paper - cheap as possible but I want to buy it now (best if it is plain too).
Went to home bargains yesterday as they have cheap rolls but they were a funny grainy quality I didn't like.
So as anyone seen any anywhere ??? - may try b and m too...
Got to get it all ready for christmas now
Have loads of gold luxury ribbon for ladies presents and going to make tags with names on cut out on my cricut( have to dig out gold paper and card) Going to start making tags and want them all done by the end of this month. For the men - any other colour I think (would like black or silver which I have seen cheap somewhere) with some kind of manly tag on - but no ribbon on theres.

Try Tesco. There's 2 Tesco's near me. One sells gold paper (i think it's 5m for £1.80) and the other doesnt sell it. If you have several Tesco's, try them all. :)
Edit: And you can get it from the Studio Catalogue as well :D Just looked in there and it's there xD £1.99 for 3m of luxury paper.

I think I might do one for my OH, have started picking up little bits and pieces in the charity shop- have a mini finding nemo jigsaw puzzle and a dr who connect 4 so far... things to keep him busy for five mins lol.
Liking the ideas of activities as well, what kind of ideas did you girls all use for this?
Am going to do it in a box, covered with christmas wraping, and filled with popcorn- does anyone know if you can use food colouring on popcorn so I can make it green and red?

Just been having a look and its not just food colouring you use

heres a link to a recipie

It might be a bit sticky though to put pressies in, I wonder if you can still get them polistirine thingys that they used to pack parcels with, they would be good would be like snow then... or little polistrine balls??

Yeah, you can still get them. They're more classed as "bean bag refill packs" now but you can get them.

    thanks for that girlies,
thought it was just food colouring, not butter and sugar as well grrr.

Shall have a think, but the bean bag refills sound like a good idea as well

It might be worth you asking on your local Freecycle network if anyone has any polystyrene beads or packaging peanuts to give away - I've often seen them being offered.
