Afternoon,
Haven't posted much since January, but thought it was about time I got organised again, am off work on hols for a month so this will be the perfect opportunity.
Sarah good to see the kids are still into Dr Who!
I am thinking for xmas that I will go for the Hampers again for everyone else outwith my house, they went down really well last year, so will go away and make my lists and will post my ideas later on.
Haven't read the whole way through the threads, just the last couple of pages, WHERE's MEL?0 -
Managed to get some of my fabric cut to patchwork size squares ready for sewing (lots of cutting still to do though!)
Have been practising(Sp?) my knitting some more and about to take the plunge and start on a scarf for my granny- any hints would be much appreciated!!!
Have also ordered more fabric, found out my 'adp[ted' daughter (she calls me mummy- only 2 years younger lol) is pregnant and she's asked for a patchwork blanket so going to do her a baby themed hamper but needed more baby friendly fabric
How is everyone getting on/0 -
Hi I just wanted to let you all know that there is another thread covering chrimbo (plus other occasions) that has been set up recently and will be kept up to date (this one cannot be kept up to date as PinkLadyMel has left)this is where all the challenges similar to Rudolph day will be also there are other challenges like one that choccy has just put on about planning for the summer hols!
You will find it here and will recognise lots of friendly faces and it has been started for newbies and old hands and so it can be updated as it needs to be regularly xxx0 -
ahh, was confused by the other thread, assumed it was started by someone who couldnt e bothered reading all the posts here lol.
Shall pop over soon0 -

This thread cannot be updated on the first page as PLM has left so in order to keep a christmas thread (and now an all occassions linked to thrifty thread!) going someone needs to be here supporting the first page, setting the challenges doing updates etc etc. Therefore a new thread completely seperate but with similar themes to this one has been started. So the new thread will be kept up to date and new challenges etc etc posted hope that makes sense!!0 -

Both Mum2one and myself were very active members in the original thrifty gifty threads. Had you had a read on here too i am sure that you would of seen Mum2one has always been an active member on this thread.
We are both very devoted to the thread and keeping thrifty gifty going thats why we are giving our time to keeping thrifty gifty going and regularly updated for all posters to get full benefit of the threadfurrypig says:my name is Choccy and I am addicted to nose free stamps as I want to save them all and give them noses!!!:rotfl:

I would so love to be organised and have everything sorted by December it would be soooo amazing i'm never ready for xmas! I'm thinking of doing a list of what to get everybody and keeping my eyes peeled for deals on any of those items lol

Yeah i've joined thrifty challenges or something along those lines, so many threads i get confused easily! I've had a challenge myself just trying to think of something for the granny! LOL She adores DD and i was thinking of getting a 'granny' photo album and between now and christmas filling it with nice pictures of DD but every photo album i find seems to be 'Grandma' or 'Grandmother' Argh!Winging life....0
