It means Dell will pay to collect it if there is a problem during the first 90 days, after that it's up to you to return it to them
Thanks to all who post constructively.

Not strictly true, under Sale of Goods Act, the seller has a responsibility for faulty parts for up to 6 years - different parts have different life spans. It is also the sellers responsibility to cover the costs of collection and return.

    Edit:- back up again now.

This may be the case legally (I dont know) but I dont fancy the chance of getting the International call centres to agree to it when you have a problem on your 5 year old laptop which neds collection!

I've read on here, that if you phone them up to cancel as you've seen a cheaper alternative; you can start haggling.....

Sorry guys but I can't figure out the E-value code system. What way should I enter the code for this bargain laptop? No matter which way I try to break up the code in the two input boxes, I can't seem to get it to work.

Which text goes in which of the two boxes, please?
