Someone mentioned that it doesnt have a PCMCIA slot, and as I have a GPRS Datacard that I often use on the road, anyone knows whether there is some sort of adapter/converter to make the card work somehow?

If you also have a mobile phone, then most can be connected to a laptop using a cable to access GPRS.

I use a Nokia 6680 on Orange and have Nokia PC Suite installed on the laptop.
The 6680 is connected to laptop with USB Cable.
This allows me connect via GPRS and send and receive SMS.

Also if you use brand new O2 online SIMs you can get GPRS access for free :)

Got 40 of them, really need to get a data cable for my Samsung e700

No! You can buy one from Dell for £5.88 or pick one up on Ebay, but I think you can also create one on your own Windows machine as well using a utility provided by Dell.

@ sandybrag : I reckon these laptops will go down in price to around £250 by July :)

    Per Dell tech spec:

    Slots
    Express card slot
This system uses an ExpressCard Slot which does not support any cards available for PC Card.

Still available here at £339 with 512MB RAM and 15.4" screen

Can I still order it through that without actually being a small business?
