That's one of the improved specs:
Now has wifi and DVD burner.
Previous one at £299 wanted £35 for wifi and £55 for DVD burner.

When buying extra ram to add do they all have to be same size stick. II have 256mb in the laptop I'm getting, can I just buy a 512mb stick or do I need to get 2 256mb sticks?

Mixing should be fine. It was older memory in days gone by that had to be added in matching pairs.

Ordered mine as moneyspanner suggested, I think it’s worth the extra £50 for the larger screen and extra ram. Can someone tell me if it’s got a network card as I can’t see it on the spec.

There is a network card - the ethernet point is on the left hand side with the modem, 3 usb ports, a VGA port and the PCI slot. On the right there is the optical drive and at the rear there is the power.
That is all the connections on the unit.

Am looking at ordering....I see it comes with McAfee security stuff on it free for 15 months.....is it better to not have this installed and use AVG Free?

But you can still buy memory and find it will not work with the existing strip. You still need to have the right type.
