The Dell site now seems to be updating prices automatically when you change options, rather than you having to click on update price. Has anyone else found this?0

No longer need to 'update price' - done automatically.
Screen res - 1280 x 800 (widescreen) for both 14.1" and 15.4"0 -

When I got my £299 one, I upgraded the battery, and get about 3h40 out of a charge......0

does anyone know if there's any reason to get the additional ram through dell, or is it better to get this separately? can see 1gb of ram on dabs.com from £65 for DDR2 SDRAM.

it's £240 with dell! am i missing something here? i know dell make their money on upgrades, but would it be difficult to sort this out independently (i.e just buy the base unit and sort out upgrades myself)? thanks.0 -
