There are no options to change any settings, the burn is done as part of another application, not through Roxio or whatever.
Strangely, there is no option to burn ISO's in the Roxio package, so I have no idea what engine/software the laptop is using.

    Could be this one:

Go to homepage and under Quick Links click on 'More offers from Dell' and you'll see this one:

    From:
    £299
    Due to End 03/05/2006

    InspironTM 1300 - LIST-N05135
    bullet.gifIntel® Celeron® M Processor 370 (1.50GHz, 1MB L2 cache, 400MHz FSB)
    bullet.gifGenuine Windows® XP Home Edition
    bullet.gif256MB 533MHz DDR SDRAM
    bullet.gif40GB Hard Drive
    bullet.gif14.1" Wide XGA screen
    bullet.gifIntegrated Direct AGP Graphics
    bullet.gifIntegrated 24xCD-RW/8xDVD Combo Drive
    bullet.gif56K Data Fax Modem
bullet.gif90 Day Collect and Return Service

But the e-value code brings nothing up if you want to configure so may well be a phone only offer.

Is there a specific number, or can you ring the general 0870 number, 0870 907 5818?

Last week I had a 6400 laptop delivered with 1gb ram, 60gb hd, wireless and with bluetooth,( but the graphics card was not very good) for £675 bought over the phone. Today I have just seen on the dell website that they have upped the spec with a better graphics card ,100gb but 512 ram. Am a bit peeved to say the least. What advice could anyone out there give me shall I return it ? ask for a discount ?or am i outside the 7 day guarantee or did I still get a good deal?

I haven't seen the offer but if it doesn't have wifi built in you can get a mini-pci wifi card from ebuyer for £15. I bought the upgrade from dell (it wasn't included in mine) but if I'd have known how easy it is to fit one then I would have saved myself about £20 :)

The Dell 1300 doesn't take PCI cards it has the newer Express card slot.

    From the Dell site,

<LI class=point_normal>Express card slot: This system uses an ExpressCard Slot which does not support any cards available for PC Card.
