I only ask as I often see Tesco vouchers for sale on eBay and as Tesco stupulate that one cannot use riends' or family members' Clubcard vouchers for your own Clubcard rewards as Clubcard vouchers that were sent to your registered Clubcard Account address (the address your Clubcard Statement is sent to) should only be used, it would mean that those sellers are selling nothing, no!?

Usually the sellers offer to convert the vouchers to deals for you then send them on, that's what i have done in the past

I am someone who will really benefit from this scheme as I have hundreds of pounds worth of vouchers and there are no current deals I want to change them for.

So today I took a single £20 voucher in and was given 4 x £10 wine vouchers. I bought 4 lots of 3 for £10 wine, plus an extra bottle and th eoriginal price shows as £92.30 , which comes down to £39.92 after the various offers and the 5% off for 6 bottles or more. So for a £20 Tesco club card voucher I have over £90 worth of wine.

For me that is a good result and I will be going back for more

Sorry for this second post but MSE is playing up for me a bit and I can't add to my last one.

It is worth noting though that the vouchers are checked thoroughly before you change them. My Tesco clubcard was scanned then the voucher to make sure they were on the right account, and when I spent the £10 wine vouchers they wouldn't go through until the lady scanned my clubcard to make sure that again they were on the right account. I asked about it and the cashier said she was told it was to stop people using vouchers that didn't belong to them, but she doesn't actually know if that is true or just staff gossip.

Means nothing to me....I spend my vouchers on food. I see no offers that are of interest to me and have no desire to buy any clothes from Tescos- I don't rate the styles and the quality is really poor. I have no need for toys (even electronic ones), wine and the cinema bores me (-I prefer to watch movies whilst doing something else)

I guess I'll be sticking to food.

Gosh you get a lot of joy out of life don't you?
  • has anyone actually had multiples of £5 i usually do, but all my vouchers are for really odd amounts, bit dubious of using these for double up incase we dont get points back. might have to stick to food shopping..... boring

Bargain! How did you manage to not spend the whole £40 though, it's not supposed to work unless you spend at least that amount

Has anyone done this so far with vouchers sent in previous mailings? I've been told it's only for the recent and future vouchers but not sure if that's accurate

I think you can add the vouchers together, the lady in front of me appeared to have (I was trying to peek) a couple of £4.50 vouchers and a £1 voucher to get to her £10. Then the 'new' vouchers are issued in £10 lots.

Another lady in the queue had an £11.50 voucher and they changed that for 2 x £10 vouchers and said the balance of £1.50 would go back onto the account.

It's just the same if you used to send away for deals. If you sent say £19 of vouchers for a £15 deal the £4 change was added back to your balance and just reissued the next quarter.

I asked that and apparently that is a bit misleading in the literature. It is like gift cards where no change can be given, so although I had £40 of vouchers and spent £39.92 I could use the vouchers but I lost the 8p.

It is handy though that all the vouchers are issued in £10 lots rather than in one huge amount.
