New Tesco Double Points in-store offer

Tesco's Clubcard loyalty system lets you earn points from spending instore, online or on its credit card but it's just launched a new double points deal.

New Double Points

Until 30 Sept, either go online or ask instore customer services to convert normal vouchers into double-up vouchers for one of the following goods categories, including: babies, clothing; cosmetics, skincare & fragrances, flowers, gardening, toys, wine.

Quadruple on Deals

As always, though, you can get up to 4x the value converting them into its partners' Clubcard Deals inc. RAC membership, days out, magazine subscriptions, etc.

Which is best?

Clubcard deals are still usually better value but double-up gives more range and convenience

Looks like it is on stuff that is often on offer to shift it anyway.

I think I'll stick with the clubcard deals.

We buy a lot of Tesco clothing and toys. We've accumulated over £250 of vouchers and have been struggling with what to spend them on other than 'days out' so this will be a good deal for us :T

I hope this doesn't mean a revamp of the deals scheme too!
We save ours for Virgin Holidays - couldn't afford to go without the Deals Tokens.

We have a load of vouchers which we have been struggling to find something we really wanted to spend them on. Changed a load into cineworld vouchers the other week, and will probably exchange the rest to spend on the wine instore

Sorry to sound thick but do we have to convert the current vouchers into Deal (4x value) by 30 September? I've got just over £10 (£40 deals) worth at present and am saving them towards a holiday.

Means nothing to me....I spend my vouchers on food. I see no offers that are of interest to me and have no desire to buy any clothes from Tescos- I don't rate the styles and the quality is really poor. I have no need for toys (even electronic ones), wine and the cinema bores me (-I prefer to watch movies whilst doing something else)

I guess I'll be sticking to food.

No, you just have to convert them before they expire - date on ticket. The 30th SEptember date of just for some of the items in the 'new' spend vouchers in store deal. HTH.

so does this 30th Sept date just mean that they'll decide if this new way has made them money or not and therefore if it will become a permanent offer?
Also do we think you'll be able to use them when its wine week on the half price wine? - that would make my Mum a very happy bunny!

My vouchers this year are 'bagsied' for a Goldsmiths voucher but next year I won't have anything I need unless my watch breaks and the other deals aren't anything I'm interested in/near enough to use

Converted some of my vouchers in store this morning. All very easy to do.

Sami-bee it states on the vouchers that they're worth their value after all discounts have been applied so it looks like you can go mad with the offers! Only thing is you don't get change so need to spend a min of £10 in a transaction and any left over credit will be converted back into clubcard points and added to your account. Personally I don't have any problem spending £10 on wine or clothes in a single transaction!
