What an offer!!! I got there first on the way to work and was allowed to get any item for 1p. Choose a suit jacket and they said I could have the whole suit worth £149 for 1p.

I then went to the store near my work in Bradford and got two ties, two piceses of jewlery and some knickers for the misses for 5p. Was especially good as I skipped the queue by going in through another entrance and "accidentally" joing the queue inside near the front.

That was very decent of you!

I guess you have to be there at 9 or else forget it. I wandered into the store at 11 and the tiny section that was the penny market was empty. There was a sign saying to come back tomorrow. I would have thougth that they would have had it for more than an hour and a half if it was that long. Very disappointed.

My guess is you would need to be there before store opening, the queue in Norwich was way longer than they had stock for.

I posted earlier in this thread that each store should have enough stock for roughly 444 people

M&S in London Victoria, Cardinal Place advised that the bazaar is between 8 & 9 am only!
what sort of offer is that? who would queue to be there before office time?!

Useless offer -they could have made it at lunch time at least!

Fantastic, As for once for those who's local it is may actually get a look in unlike the sales when the place is flogged with commuters. :T

is it all the m&s doing this as i have heard that my local m&s in gainsborough is not doing it??

Gainsborough on Marshalls Yard is classed as a Food Hall isn't it??
  • The queue at M&S was out the door by the time I managed to get to the shops today.

So I will try again on Thursday. Well done to everyone who did get some thing from the Bazaar. Even though the items are being sold for 1p each, I think I will donate £5 if I get the full 5 items. Its for charity isn't it. So every little helps.
  • I was refering to the £149 suit for a penny, q jumping guy!

Went to local large M & S this morning got in queue around 8.45 about 150 in front, very well organized with people monitering the queue, everyone given a leaflet this enabled staff to know they had enough stock of something for all who queued.
Was lovely going in the door, the store was all decorated out and had cordoned off area with tables and old fashioned barrel full of goodies.
got necklace and braclet, tea towel, mug and really yummy sweets. Staff lovley and helped you choose goodies.
Was in aid of local hospice with collecting buckets which Im glad to say was filling up with £1 coins a few £5 notes and the odd £10.
    So well done Castlepoint.
