Fry onions and pork (as mince, or as balls) until browned a bit, slice some carrots thinly (using a vegetable peeling knife, or by hand), chop up a couple of apples if you've got them, lob in some apple juice and simmer for ages. Serve with rice, or veggies.0

fry some onions, mix with the pork mince, an egg, some fajita seasoning, or any other type of seasoning, form into balls.
Fry an onion gently, add a tin of tomatoes, throw in some more flavouring like chilli or more fajita stuff if you like it. Cook for a bit.
Either cook the balls separately or in the sauce.Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi0 -
I always make my Bolognese sauce with 1/2 pork and 1/2 beef mince. Use it this way in your normal recipe0

Pork burgers are fantastic - I've made them with a bit of chopped apple in the mix before, and they were lovely. (Thanks for the reminder, actually - I'll have to do that again!)
Pork mince makes lovely meatballs, too, either by itself or mixed half and half with beef (which is how they traditionally make meatballs in Italy, I believe) - there's a lovely Nigel Slater recipe somewhere where pork meatballs are cooked with lemon juice and chicken stock which is truly .Back after a very long break!0 -
I cook pork meat balls and serve in a sweet & sour sauce, served with rice.
I used to do this with chopped up sausages or sausage meal balls when the kids were small - they thought it was very grown up having sweet & sour pork, LOL!

I prefer pork bolognese to beef - the pork doesn't get chewy like beef can and I believe pork or wild boar is more traditional in Bologna anyway.
As said above, pork burgers are great and you can also use pork bolognese or similar sauce to stuff courgettes, peppers etc. Ask if anyone you know is drowning in home-grown courgettes at the moment, most people who grow them always have too many around this time of year!0 -
make your own skinless sausages - add some minced up onion, herbs, apple/fennel/garlic and mix really well and squish by hand until a smoother consistency, shape into sausages, put in the fridge or freezer.Cats don't have owners - they have staff!!DFW Long Hauler Supporter No 1500
