Can you not cancel jobs on the RE site anymore? I have a job booked with them, and have just been offered a more lucrative job on the same day by ABAi, in completely the other direction, so I want to cancel the RE one.

Go into active jobs, click "Release" (next to continue) on the job you want to cancel.

Now I know thats fine but I think the fee is low when over 50% of it I have to spend on purchases of set things. Would be good if this appeared on the initial screen and not in the attachment they email out to you AFTER you have accepted the job. But its all trial and error and now I know for next time :)
Once you've done a few, you'll start to remember which are which :)

Gosh aren't alcoholic drinks expensive? I've just MSd a snail & salad place for lunch and had to order 4 different drinks, 3 alcoholic, neither me nor my friend who was with me drink much, so we were stuggling. And the bill came to £10 more than the reimbursement, 1 small glass of wine was nearly £5. Was quite fun anyhow, and I got some free postcards for my competition entries.

Wow! Has the brief changed since last month, then? I "only" had to order two different drinks when I went recently.

Edit: Just looked and yes, the brief has changed. I managed to get deserts in the reimbursement when I went, but that wouldn't be possible with the current brief. Also, there's no way that they can expect working people to have more than one alcoholic drink each at lunchtime, so I guess this now one for the non-working, non-driving brigade!

Yes mine last month was 2 drinks, presumed it would be the same, but nope 4 drinks this time, and no increase in the reimbursement. And you could see the waiter was wondering why I was ordering spirits when I hadn't even drunk my wine, but he was very polite. We ended up with 5 half drunk glasses on the table.

Makes you wonder what the 'target market' is. I did a couple of lunch-time meals ages ago, and won't bother any more because it just leaves me feeling sluggish all afternoon. I wonder if they get a large number of genuine customers eating and drinking these quantities at lunch-times?

I think the target must be to enable the servers to correctly identify the mystery shopper's table based on the drinks ordered!

:T:rotfl:, if it was an evening meal, i would probably go for it, but a mid week lunch with all that booze and food.....who has the time. Its more like "look at me i'm the MS, who couldn't possible eat and drink all this"
