Some places pay a fee and reimburse-some just reimburse. You need to look at each job spec seperately it always says. I did a pub lunch last week with RE- it did both -I did an airport meal with TNS it didn't (but was still worth doing as I needed to eat pre-flight anyway). I like the pizza delivery ones-no reimbursement but we often order them anyway so to me it's worth doing -but if I didn't like the stuff it wouldn't be.

There isn't a 100% rule-some companies will have some that reimburse and others that don't on the same page.. Never assume :)

in this case I have to buy a set drink and meal. so it is specific and not just things like milk and bread hence i presumed reimbursement would apply? Thats why I wanted to check which companies do or dont reimburse or for which types of jobs do reimbursements occur.
Sorry, I thought you were talking about a petrol station job, that's why I mentioned the milk and bread. Didn't realise it was something else. :o

With most ABAi jobs, there is no reimbursement, and the fee includes your purchases.

Im really sorry if I have done something wrong - up until yesterday i had not posted in the alert thread as was worried about doing it wrong and i have kept descriptions to minimum as i think retail bare for example is plenty of data as means people can just go the website and check for themselves. if these sort of posts in alert thread are wrong and im really sorry and wont post in there anymore, i thought it was to let people know if you saw a new job that might be good for someone else.

Don't worry! He/she was referring to a poster who seemed to not understand the rules on the alerts thread. As far as I'm aware you've done nothing wrong! :-)

Angel, from memory, I've not noticed you posting chatter in there, you posted a few jobs yesterday I think, which is great and really helpful to us all.

phew! I thought I was a problem! I had replied to someone this morning as they said jobs were for males only when they weren't so i thought that was what it was about. Everytime I go into Alerts I think my fingers are going to accidentally type all the stuff I am not allowed to say :rotfl:I touch type normally (usually not even looking at the screen) but in there I double check every letter before i click post just in case i have serious brain fade:eek:

Now I know thats fine but I think the fee is low when over 50% of it I have to spend on purchases of set things. Would be good if this appeared on the initial screen and not in the attachment they email out to you AFTER you have accepted the job. But its all trial and error and now I know for next time :)

thanks i read through all job specs thoroughly especially food ones as i am veggie so need to know i can actually carry out task. But in this case you dont get the spec until you have accepted the job hence I was a bit worried, now i know this is how this company works from now on I can calculate approx expenses from the fee before I decide to accept.

Can you not cancel jobs on the RE site anymore? I have a job booked with them, and have just been offered a more lucrative job on the same day by ABAi, in completely the other direction, so I want to cancel the RE one.

Yuerk. Just done two coffee jobs and now have another lined up. Really really don't want any more coffee. I accepted these three jobs too quickly without reading the brief properly thinking they'd all be different as they're all different chains... but they're not. Icky. Not doing this again.

Such a funny MS experience. Just been to the shop where they want the staff to hand receipts over with 2 hands. You could tell from the guys face he wasn't comfortable with it but he still did it. I had to try really hard not to laugh.
