Well done BHB, I admire your moderation! Ava, I'm working towards moderation on drinking nights, trying not to have my hand on the corkscrew at 6 p.m.

GP, climbing walls is a good thing to do!! Good luck on lardloss and I think you deserved your beers after that.

Not long to weekend. Enjoy your Friday everyone.

Well done Ava, you're doing well.

Grey Pilgrim that is sooo inspiring, really pleased for you as your post sounds so positive.

BHB, glad to hear you don't need MPs whip yet - glad that moderation is working for you at the mo.

Miss piggy I understand what you mean about putting the diet on hold and just dealing with this. I'm still trying to fit WW in with this too and on a bad day it's difficult to do both.

I had some good news and have been offered a job at last. Salary not great but local and a place I like. After months of unemployment I'm afraid there was Cava involved last night to celebrate and I was too excited to make the pub after all! And I don't regret it today so there!! :D

I might try to pop another AFD in between now and Monday to get myself a 'spare' back. otherwise if I drink between Monday and Thursday I will need a Fri Sat or Sun Alcohol free to make my target.

Feeling happy today, hadn't realised how relieved I would feel just being offered a basic type of job again - yippee!

Ava and 69chick - I think that it's between Wendy and Ewan but not sure which yet. Probably Wendy. She's a bit more organised than Ewan! Not sure what I'll do with myself once its finished!

69chick - I'll send a bit of virtual cake your way! Had our Maccy D's. Piglet scoffed his then started on mine!!

Well done WBF on the job front thats great and will do your confidence a world of good :T:T

Miss P - I like Wendy as I just think Ewan seems a bit too competitive/cocky sometimes - also he said he had never cooked for kids and I remember him on a reality programme where he had to look after 2 kids for a week and do everything for them so that was a fib (although probably not intentional lol) I had a bacon/egg mcmuffin today after the stress of trying to get a photobooth pic of dd, she ended up in tears bless her...felt mean though as I didn't get anything to eat for the kids :o but they are off sick...

I need to get passports for my girls and dh and we go away on 22nd Aug  am going to go into town to a photo shop and get the pics done tomorrow then use the post office check and send service on Monday which will hopefully be enough time - I hate it when I do this though and leave stuff till late, I booked the bloomin holiday last year!!!

Me too  I'm a complete and utter nightmare and procrastination should be my middle name. But nobody is perfect :D We all have our 'thing' that makes us, us ;)

Infact this whole car problem could have been avoided if I had taken it to the garage sooner  BUT........DH is off to pick up the new car as I speak :jI've packed up the caravan and we're ready to rock and roll as soon as he gets back. It's all been a bit of a rush, but we got there in the end.

Mmmmm Masterchef. After last night my money is on Wendy, unless she makes a mess of the three courses tonight which I don't think she will. I'm hoping to be all set up and in proper holiday mode by the time it comes on tonight.

I probably won't be in here for a while, so I wish you all well and catch up when I get back
    Need to start again :o
