I'm on 8 AF days now, I think, lost count a bit.
Hello to everyone and I hope the month is going well for you.
Thanks graeme for the helpful posts.Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.0 -
Morning all

Friday at last :T I have a big family weekend away this weekend so won't be around after tonight, so have a good weekend everyone and I hope you are all where you want to be AF wise xx0 -
:hello:Good morning everybody
14 for me please Jo, I won't be drinking today cos it's an AFD.
69Chick: Poor you and poor little one - Olivia? I just remember she was the cheeky monkey who ran out of the cafe a few weeks ago. Too much traffic on the roads as far as I'm concerned, even if they are going slowly near the school. I hope all gets back to normal very soon.
Miss P: you are a little sweetie and you are doing really well. :T
Graeme: thanks for your post. I'm a major cutter-downer, in some ways it would be nice to be abstinent like you, but I think Mr PIR and I need to share some wine on a Saturday night because it's something we've always done, and we enjoy it.
I took part in a tennis tournament on Tuesday (won't do that again in a hurry, talk about competitive, I was so nervous I was appalling). This was followed by lunch with wine - I really didn't want any wine, and I think I was the only person there who was only drinking sparkling water. Most people only had one glass, but even so, that would have made it a non-AFD. And today, I've been invited to a friend's birthday lunch (don't normally go out for all these lunches, but spose it's end of term and all that) - where again there will be wine. I'm going to say I don't want any because I'll be driving to collect children later and even one glass makes me tired.
Better get on. Still no freelance work on the horizon, but I could get used to this lifestyle! The house is starting to look cleaner than it has done for ages and I'm getting some DIY jobs done too.
Have a great day everybody!
