Admittedly it has got easier over the months on AF nights but I still miss it and feel disappointed. I find the easiest way to cope is to do AF activities (like dancing or yoga or climbing walls )

When I say it's a doddle now - I don't mean that to sound the way it might :rotfl: I mean, I have got so into the habit now after a few months that I don't give drinking a second thought on a normal week night at all, plus I am taking Kudzu which has helped me a heck of a lot. It would not be a doddle without Kudzu.

Having said that - August will be difficult as I am a way more than at home and have lots of parties and other celebrations coming up but August is always like that for me :rolleyes:

I am managing so well when I am at home in a normal week because it is now a habit, and also because of the Kudzu. I used to find going just one night without my wine the hardest thing in the world so I have come a heck of a long way and am very pleased with myself. I am achieving just what I set out to achieve - cutting down and only drinking moderately at weekends. I never thought I could do it, but I have and Kudzu has played a large part in that - the rest has been down to me and finding a cast iron willpower at the beginning of the challenge thanks to the help of this thread :T It does show that some people are able to cut down too - it wasn't easy to start with but now it is fine and I enjoy having a longer evening because I am actually staying awake :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Miss Piggy - I don't know if that is a new avatar but it is so cute.

I'm not sure if I'm going to be AF today, I will check back later.

Thanks - yes, he's a little cutie (sometimes!!)

  • Hi everybody

Fluffy - I completely agree with you. I'm AF during the week, in fact only allowed one night with wine now - which is moderate-ish. But I'm finding it easier now to avoid drinking during the week, although still sometimes have to be strict with the bells when they start especially on Weds and Thurs. I gave in at the beginning of my challenge in May, and was really disappointed with myself, so I know I can't give in now.

    Have good day all
