Thanks WBF - I suppose that's one of the problems with rules. Once broken, they're easy to keep breaking. Let us know how you get on.

WBF, I now just what you mean about letting Thursday slip into the weekend. I find Kudzu helps a bit. I'm sure it's psychological but If I tell myself no alcohol tonight and take my Kudzu it's as if I'm preparing myself.

Ava, I've been doing 'hunt the Kudzu' today in H&B. I asked the assistant where it was and she said things had been moved around under 'ailments' so as there were only the two of us in the shop, I asked her what ailment 'Kudzu' was meant to be for? She said something like 'avoiding alcohol' and looked a bit puzzled. I think she thought it must be for OH or something as I didn't look like a bag lady or have a bottle in a plain wrapper in my hand!

Have a good evening everyone when it comes and remember the weekend starts TOMORROW!

Hi Maman - I've been looking for kudzu online and was tempted to buy it from the on-line auction site (are we allowed to mention it by name?), but as items you buy are listed for all to see, I'm a little reluctant ... not that anyone knows who I am of course!

That's why I wake up and decide not to drink for just today. Not tomorrow, not next week, etc. Just today.
Because I can go one day without a drink. Don't know if I can go a week. Defo cannot go a year.
    Day at a time.

GC - wise words as always, and those are the ones that I really must repeat to myself daily. Well done on the stopping smoking by the way. I stopped in 1991 having smoked 20 a day for over 10 years, stopping was the best thing I ever did, though I increased my drinking - instead of puff, drink, puff, drink, it was drink, drink, drink, drink:o - not a pretty sight at the time. Also put on masses of weight, but it was worth it, gave myself a year then went on a diet. Anyway, well done.

You can buy it on-line form Holland & Barratt or Victoria health. VH also do a tincture version which you put in water .
