BHB & 40sm you both have my admiration as I can imagine how hard it must be for you..but like all kids worth it all really (when they are asleep :D)

T2GU Tis really funny cos my wine bells are ringing REALLY LOUDLY right now and I have a bottle of cava in the fridge - have had a really tough day with the kids and dh has just gone to play 5 a side and my 3 are all far from asleep  sooo feel like taking the edge off!!

Am thinking dh should be back (so he says) at about 9pm so might say I will share the bottle with him then if I still want it...hopefully by then the urge will have been surfed so to speak

hope the rest of you are having a good evening and not too many bells clanging

I'd be alright with the cava in the fridge.. I can't do the popping corks...!!:rotfl:

Luckily I have none of my fav drinkies in the house, and won't go out now as all the local shops will be surrounded with young person's trying to get all the customers to buy ciggies and cheap booze for them... I'm a right coward me..! but that's yet another story.. so i'm safe for AFD tonight.

  • :hello:Hi everybody

Wine bells been ringing here too - not clanging though, but definitely tinkling and trying to tempt me. But I've resisted, I've reminded myself that can't cope with wine on a school night, and of course I've got my AF target to achieve.

It certainly doesn't help with the hormonal DDs here either!:eek:

DD1 (17.5 years old) has now decided she wants to go to Wakestock, Abersoch  this weekend but can't find cover for herself at the restaurant where she works 2 nights per week. Risking that job would be highly unadvisable, I told her, but as you can imagine, her response was not pleasant :eek: She went last year, and I took the rest of the family and we camped on a nearby site, I was so nervous about her going.

Several of you are updating CVs and applying for new jobs. I've decided that I really don't need to be a home based freelancer now, and I think it would actually do everybody good if I had a proper job (especially me!), so I'm starting to apply too. But I think the job market is pretty dire now.

Anyway, have a good evening everybody. Have a great caravan holiday, FH!!!

Well done on ignoring those bells PIR we nearly succumbed then thought better of it..

have had dd up several times withe her 'tummy ache' and ds bless im is also a bit under the weather too, think he has a temp and he has been coughing and gurgling a lot in his sleep.

then I also thought why would I open a bottle when It was nearly 10 o clock on a school night  so have settled for fizzy water and lime...

Good luck on the job front too PIR...

    Night Night all x
