Fay,MP is right. You CAN do this! Be strong!

Well I've been to see the scary nurse and she says the next "intake" for their dietbusting thing is in september! My god, I'll be a right lump of lard by then (alright alright....a BIGGER lump of lard!). I was talking to my Mum and was saying I would go to WW but its so expensive. So my lovely Mummy says she will weigh me every week - charge me £3.50 and will put the money by for me to buy clothes when I lose weight. She'll also kick my proverbial if I don't stick to it.

So from Monday I'll be be back on the dieting wagon....:undecided.

So that means DEFINATELY cutting down on the alcohol as I know its one of my biggest downfalls.

    Miss P

I did talk to my friends before - an odd reaction

    Some got angry ?
    Some got a bit arsey?
And some said OK but not today - handed me a glass............
Peoples reactions are so odd - did you guys find that?

One of my closest pals (Who I have told) is so proud of me - but has said that when we are down OF COURSE I'll be having a wee gin with her - ???????????? Argh. Does no one listen?

The other end of the sclae are these lovely folk coming who are respecting my no alcohol in the house rule.

MP hugs me dear - I couldn't have cut down with it in the house - I can't have alcohol in the house full stop. And I am not any good at not drinking if OH has a drink - thankfully he doesnt live here and hardly ever drinks. He only drinks to get drunk - he doesnt see the point otherwise ?

You are right I am strong in lots of other areas of my life - but not this - that's the crux I think. Something for me to deal with :) ta for the support

I am thinking to be diligent and try hard - Id like to be a social drinker - but to be honest - I don't drink to be social - I drink to get drunk.

So I think its a positive - no for me to even have any - however, this will take some amount of doing.

Do I feel strong enough yet - nope.

    Will I try - yup.
Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.
Total debt as of 28/4/19 £7867.38:eek:
    minus 112.06 = £7755.32:money:

MP, hugs to you, I hope this is your body getting back to the old AF self and this phase passes soon xx

Fay, it's all about addiction in my opinion...it's the same with smokers, when you decide to quit, your smoking friends fall into exactly the same categories, plus you'll find some saying to you, 'ah, you sure you don't want one?' and then blowing the smoke your way. It's no failing on your part, it's theirs cos they don't feel comfortable knowing that you are stronger than them for quitting and they can't. Let em all get over it, feel smug and proud and then text me all about it :rotfl: xx

Just dropped DS off to beavers, OH went out to see the Kings of Leon last night and I imagine came back late and drunk as he slept fully dressed on the sofa which was the first indicator, then he spent most of the day in bed (had booked a day off work luckily), now, as it's his pay day, he's out shopping, he loves shopping, just spoke to him, he's in the changing room at TKMaxx and has been for 30 minutes so far trying on practically everything they sell  a definate role reversal, I hate shopping and he loves it!

I'm hoping he'll like shopping for a decent take away when he gets in as I've no money and couldn't go shopping!! Yet to break that little nugget of info to him...
