You need to come down to sarf engs for me to do it though Fay... :)

Don't put yourself back where you were a few weeks ago, it's the worst feeling in the world when you're scared to take your pjs off incase you buy alcohol!

Whilst I love my PJ's - I think perhaps you may be right :).

I am really panicking and I know this is stupid about seeing my friends - I love them all but they are all really heavy drinkers and just dont understand.

I may have to be 'SICK'. ie on anti-biotics in their eyes.

Prob is - the alcohol in the houses -:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

God I sound like a baby. I just don't think I am THAT strong yet.

Some really thought provoking (and supportive) posts on here this morning....gives me something to think about...its like in my day to day living..ie I don't get out much  I know I can do it, but as soon as a social thing happens with friends and family it is another story...I am not the same as the giver uppers completelyers but still I don't want to feel I have to drink to 'enjoy' myself...at my nephews birthday on Saturday I gave myself a time that I could drink (6pm the party started at 3pm and the pimms were out straight away ) so I did that but as I hadn't eaten cos I was awaiting the 'grown up' barbecue it went straight to my head and I was telling people 'I havn't been drinking much later so feel a bit squify' which is a bit embarrassing.....

I remember reading somewhere (it was about people with eating disorders) that some people impose rules on themselves with eating like 'i can only eat chocolate if it is one I havn't tried before ) or I will only eat with a knife and fork etc.. and the experts were saying that some 'rules' are quite a good thing if kept in perspective...so I think I might set myself a couple of rules for when I am out that are not too restrictive but I will try to make them automatic so they don't feel too controling iyswim....Flippin eck I don't half waffle :o

Think I might stick to a flower theme for a new name..might be Rose something...anyway my real name is Cheryl x

Fay what about when you are away saying you have got a headache so don't feel like drinking today and then see how that day went and you might just carry on...just a thought if not will masking tape do as I can never find the selotape in this house ;)

WB I completely agree, sometimes it's easy and sometimes really hard, but keep on at it hun..

Foreverhopeful good luck with your target...if you are hearing them bells just come on here it really does help

On a completely different note, has anyone on here watched any 'salad fingers' on youtube...it is sooo weird and creepy but for some reason I had to watch them all...

Hi all. Just a quick post as I'm going to work and then won't be able to post for a week or so. I'll miss you all! I'm on 13 days AF and today will definitely be another one. The next few days will be a challenge (off to South Africa and Rome!) but I'll do my best not to go mad! I'll look forward to catching up with you all when I get back. I fear there will be pages and pages. I love how we all talk so much. Take care everyone!
