Made it through the meal out AF! Quite a few temptations, go on, just one small glass, that kind of thing. I nearly gave in just to make certain other people feel more comfortable. How stupid is that!

    BRILLIANT post Bismarck! Wow!

FUAS good luck tomorrow. Do what is right for you!

Orchid, any luck with name change? I was thinking that I'll have to change mine soon as I won't be 34 for too much longer. I'll be hopeful forever but something along those lines has gone!

    Hi FH!

Jo, you're doing brilliantly. Your stories always inspire me.

    Night all.

thanks for your concerns...if anyone had asked me, it would have been hard to convince them that I wasn't hungover.....and yet....it really was scary - the pain, the retching the feeling that I'd just poisoned myself....so I'm mostly on tea now...and plenty of water....guess that we all know really that our bodes are amazing devices but they can only put up with so much...

    take care everyone
For what I've done...I start again...And whatever pain may come ...Today this ends... I'm forgiving what I've done -AF since June 2007

    Oh I remember now

Seeing very drunk women everywhere at the moment - supermarket lady who could barely walk buying a bottle vodka on Monday, a pal phoned last night after 11pm and the conversation was repeated several times cos she was absolutely hammered which there is now wrong with nor for her unusual just a normal night for her :( couple pals insisting I go out soon to get hammered after my exam.

I have to confess i may open a bottle of wine after it - but maybe not - debating that in my head at the moment - but - I don't want to go out on the 'skite'. Too expensive!

This WAS/IS me - how many phone calls have my pals known I was p*d in ?? Really made me think.

DS said something about drinking this am - and when I commented he said 'how do you know you don't well hardly drink' - if he only knew.

Not that I like to dwell on other peoples woes, but it is actually quite comforting to know that other people have wine alarm bells

Well, it's 8.30pm and into my danger time. So far I have phoned the Sunday Times Wine Club and cancelled my order and phoned the Cats Protection because the cat has to go.

I feel a bit sad about the cat but I have been procrastinating for far too long. He terrorises the kids and just isn't a friendly cat. My youngest was playing on the floor with a toy car and he tried to bite his head  That was the final straw, but that was over a month ago.

I feel motivated to sort things out and hopefully with the help of this forum I can :T

I've been thinking about the AF thing and what to say to 40sm (who sounds alot like me) But I'm not sure what I want to do

Ah those bells - I thought as well it was just me whhich added to my paranoid state. Reassuring isnt it?

Dont stress about the cat, we got rid of a rescue one last year who was terrorising our house - she moved into a family with no other pets or children and shes brilliant now - the cat is clearly stressed!! So you are doing it a favour.

    Re saving money

I am putting an extra £5 a day (£155+ a month extra) to my loan in my signature - my carp food consumption has gone down too, all of a sudden I have extra (not lots but extra) money, no more fizzy morning after juice, no more work sandwiches, chokilt (I hat choc but do eat if if I am hungover), and my paraceatamol consumption is now almost nil.

I am also in less of a state in general - therefore not just shoving money at kids to get things on sat am's etc to keep them busy.

Less alcohol = less spending on it and associated rubbish = more money.

    ALL GOOD :D

You are in the right place - just take baby steps and don't rush to sort things all at once - you are only human :D

PS BTW its not just alcohol money that's gone to my loan - honest - otherwise I was drinking way more than I ever imagined. I am putting ever spare penny to it at the moment - well I hope so - otherwise I would have been spending over 2k on wine in 4 months normally :)
