    Hi Guys :hello:

Btw I do wonder how I keep referring to myself as Budgie? Hope I don't do another email to a senior partner at work saying that I am going to throw myself off a cliffe and sign it Budgie  Nightmare .....................

    re........................

    God Bless
    Budgie xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Yes . Total nightmare . Thats what I did yesterday when sending an e-mail to work . Signed 40SM . Once I realised what I had done i was frantically checking every e-mail which I have sent in the last month or so. I tell you, its so easy done , once you are posting on here every day you get so used to signing off as your user name it just becomes the norm. Jo & fay are the clever ones in the bunch :o

Have lovely couple of days sweetie.

Talking of usernames, I want to change mine...Think I will have to re-register with a different one though which is a shame...anyone got any suggestions? I do have a reason for changing it as it is my name somewhere else....

Not that I like to dwell on other peoples woes, but it is actually quite comforting to know that other people have wine alarm bells

Well, it's 8.30pm and into my danger time. So far I have phoned the Sunday Times Wine Club and cancelled my order and phoned the Cats Protection because the cat has to go.

I feel a bit sad about the cat but I have been procrastinating for far too long. He terrorises the kids and just isn't a friendly cat. My youngest was playing on the floor with a toy car and he tried to bite his head  That was the final straw, but that was over a month ago.

I feel motivated to sort things out and hopefully with the help of this forum I can :T

I've been thinking about the AF thing and what to say to 40sm (who sounds alot like me) But I'm not sure what I want to do

Darling , don't make to many decisions at once once . It sounds like you have made some hard ones already this month . You do not have to give me a target for this month but if you want to let me know how many afd you achieve day by day then i will chalk them up on my board:o. It does help. My first month on this thread was April and I acheived 16 days and it really helped to know that at least 1/2 the month I was not drinking.
You are in good company on this thread ... most of us will identify with whatever problems/ difficulties you have and we are a very supportive bunch .... You only need to check my posts from yesterday to see everyone quickly rallies round to offer support even people who only randomly post . It is sooo lovely.

Honestly , joining this thread will be one of the best things you will ever do .:T

    Enjoy the journey.

Jo & fay are the clever ones in the bunch :o

Keep things simple, that's my motto

I actually have a problem with signing off everything 'Jo.x' which is a real problem when you're emailing someone really important at work, so I've stopped myself doing it now completely to stop any mishaps.

Orchid, could you email the techy peeps on here and ask if it's possible? The link is up the top I think

Anyway OH and I are going out for a nice chinese meal tomorrow to have a 'chat' and see how we are. Looking forward to it, make myself look nice and feel nice more importantly. Can't wait!

That's 8/14 for me, thanks 40SM. You're going great there on the scores - thank you for all your hard work.

And I was a pound lighter at WW this week. On balance I think the scarsdale is not significantly quicker/better than good old points counting as I regained some of the low carb loss pretty quickly. I'm just glad to be a bit lighter any way possible!

Good luck for tomorrow to FUAS.

    Sleep well everyone.

Got back to AF suprisingly easily tonight, wine bells no more than a gentle tinkle. Just needed a couple of glasses of pop (low cal) and some hot choccie. When I think how I used to be pacing the floor with a glass (of water) permanently in my hand earlier in the year I'm so pleased with how far WE'VE come.

    4 AF please 40SM
