 Hello Forever Hopeful, well done on taking that first step.

I don't know why I never thought about buying wineboxes. Although OH was drinking as much as me if not more so didn't have to hide it. He's cut down a lot too since I posted on here and it's certainly more MSE.

Good luck with your first day alcohol free. If you set a target for the rest of June then start small. Even 1 AFD in the rest of the month would be good news and something to build on.

    Some bad jokes:

    She was so blonde...

She put lipstick on her forehead because she wanted to make up her mind.

At the bottom of the application where it says 'sign here', she put 'Sagittarius.'

If she spoke her mind, she'd probably be speechless.

She studied for a blood test... and failed.

She sold the car for gas money.

    Have a good day everyone.

    afternoon everyone....

had a bizarre blast from the past yesterday as I'd clearly overdone something (probably coffee) and felt absolutely dreadful - and walking into work this morning was just like it used to be - head full of gunk, spinning, poor focus, nausea.....how on earth did I function?

still feel rough now but the pain I had yesterday in my stomach was indescribable....and yet I willed it away and reflected on how regularly I used to make myself feel rough -

so, I am now further enlightened to take better care of myself....

hope you guys are keeping happy...

    well done Sea!
For what I've done...I start again...And whatever pain may come ...Today this ends... I'm forgiving what I've done -AF since June 2007

    :hello:

Back from hols. Thought of you all. No AF days but definitely drank less than usual. Single small glass/nothing with lunch. Single small glass + water with dinner. Smallest ever bar bill at hotel and no hungover mornings!! Will try to catch up on what you've all been up to but it might take days. Definitely AF tonight, I feel like carrying on in holiday mode but my target is tight this month and I need that jumpy!!! Have a good evening.

    Evening all

Well tonight isn't going to be AF :o. I've had such an annoying few hours at work that I got one of those little bottles of wine on the way home. I'm still quite proud that I didn't head for the large bottles or the boxes though.

Now I'm sipping on a glass of wine, KNOWING that I can't go mad like normal as I don't have any more in the house. Just feel I wanted something to help me wind down.

Maman - glad you had a good holiday. Nice to have you back.

Anyway, best be off to make the dinner. Piglet just went off to bed...he stopped halfway up the stairs to blow me a kiss and say "Love flu mummy" (guess he meant love YOU mummy!:rotfl:). Made the crappy day seem so insignificant. Bless him.

    Miss P
    xx
