    Morning Peeps

Survived a minor catastrophe yesterday - woke up at 5.30 to a couple of inches of water in downstairs. Mrs BHB had accidentally put a goatskin rug in the washing machine with the towels . The hair came out of the skin and seized up everything in the washing machine. And water started coming out and didn't stop .

Now - spot the change - instead of getting angry and stressed as I would have done a month ago, I went back to bed, laughed and said we can sort it out later :rotfl:.

Eventually got up about 7.00am and decided to go and buy a wet vacuum cleaner (I had money cause I don't drink :D) and spent most of the day mopping up the mess and fixing the washing machine...... (only Mrs BHB could try and drown a goatskin )

    AND I DIDN'T HAVE A DRINK :j.

Mrs BHB did and has just said she now regrets it, didn't enjoy it and she is now about to throw the last 1/3 bottle away. :T

Have a great bank holiday weekend everyone.

28 continuous days and counting :D

Thanks Molly. Pool it is :D. We have a skip this weekend to get rid of some junk so must do a bit of work before play.
Eldest daughter is back for a couple of days later too, so would be nice to get the work done first.

Morning all - busy on here - new thread - already 6 pages long :)

AF both days - sorry to not report in before its been chaos - visitors, cello recitals (DD) birthdays (:)) and a horrible bout of something coldy/fluy - again explained to DD wearing pigtails alot - doesn't give you flu.

OH on great form - kept me on the straight and narrow - told him my AF days in April and he was pretty impressed. He doesnt normally drink - doesnt see the point unless he wants to get Rat**sed - so its all or nothing with him.

Waves to all - lots of hard stuff going on here - hugs (esp to all having a terrible time)

Welcome to new folks - bumpy old wagon but a fun one.

BHB - I thought it was only my houe that enshued so much chaos!!

Waves to Molly - hello hello hello.

Will feel more human when head is less boom boom boom ish and chest sounds less like a raking grate.

On the postiive side - woke up first thing thinking OH GOD - how much did i drink - heads pounding.

    :) NOTHING OF COURSE - :)

    Nothing to apologise for
    Nothing to feel bad about
    Nothing to make up for
Nothing to hang my head in shame about

Hurray for you guys - just will say it quietly cos I am very very delicate.

Wine bells were clanging like beast the past two days - but - used lots of your voices to keep them at bay - and when they were at their worst I went and put on my pjs and thougth - HA - you can't go out now can you...............

morning all! woke up this morning with a bit of a headaceh, but tablets have sorted that out, have just poured the last of the cider down drain! and NO it didn't make me feel good, drinking it last night, made me feel yuk - you wonder why we all do it, when we don't enjoy it.
feel in a better mood and not as depressed as i was last night, going to take the dogs out for a walk later while it is nice.
many thanks for all your concern last night, it really helped me, knowing that i could chat away and someone was listning tome, dh doesn't realise the problems i have - his attitude is - just stop drinking - he never seems to think anything is a problem,
have a good day everyone, jo-jo

Good idea Jo Jo, get out in the fresh air and sweep the cobwebs away! Do you think if you told OH you need to talk to him and sit him down and explain how you are feeling he might take it more seriously?

    Have a good day :)
