Melt 7 pounds in May!

Hi all. Sorry not been around for the past week, don't know where it's gone!!!
Weigh in tonight, I think I should have a loss as been fairly good this week! I weighed this morning at home, like I always do and I have lost 1lb. We will see what happens tonight. I get a difference each week on my scales to WW scales, but it's not the same every week. Some weeks its 2lb more at WW and sometimes it's 1½ so we will have to see.
I'm seriously thinking of giving up going to WW. £18 per month is alot of money, I just need to willpower to do it on my own. Mind you, even getting weighed at the moment isn't making much difference!
I have tonight and next Thurs weigh in left before I'm 40! I really want to get to my 10% goal and need to lose 4lb more. Have a girly night out on Sat for my birthday next weekend so hopefully that will be my only bad day, cause I know it will be.
Anyway, well done to everyone who has lost, and Dragon for eating 1000 cals per day.
GC81 - sugar in tea. I used to have 2½ spoons per cup. I went cold turkey for a few days with no sugar. After that I tried a cup with sugar and it was disgusting. Even a little bit now and I can't drink it. Just a thought.
Have a good day everyone and I will let you know how I get on tonight, keep your fingers crossed for me.

Hey Taffy I am a 69er too!! I have till 02.09 to go!!
I do the WW programme without going to classes (my pal gave me loads of old stuff for free). I need to stay on track and I find a thread like this reminds me to...;-)
I wish you well and if you wanna talk food n exercise, then feel free to chat x0 -
I was naughty yesterday

I had a really difficult session with a kid I work with and I ended up turning to eating a big slice of cake that someone had brought in.
The good things were making sure I had my 5 a day and enjoying my lunch time soup.
I looked at a site (thanks weezl) that shows your BMR and if I were to sit in bed all day I would use 1550 calories, that's quite low really! No wonder I have been gaining weight the last few years
I need to rethink my view of food I think, rather than seeing it as my entitlement to munch away! God is good, all the time
Do something that scares you every day

Afternoon all!!
Glad to see so many of you are doing well!! I'm sitting under a skylight in the office with the sun beating down on me - it's so warm it feels like the middle of summer!!
Well, foodwise - I'm not doing too badly! yesterday, when I was so hungry, I settled for some Carrot Batons with low fat philadelphia cheese - which wasn't too bad - much better than the crisps or Chocolate I usually go for!!
Exercise-wise is a different story! And I need a good kick up the backside to get me going again! (Ah - if only I'd a pound for every time I'd said that!!
) I'm working silly hours at the mo - and my boyf has just got himself a new flat so I've been round helping out to get the place sorted out!!
Anyway - enough of my life story
Happy slimming folks

Afternoon all xxx
Weather has been gorgeous today and has put me in a really positive mood. I've been snacking on grapes this afternoon so don't feel nearly as sluggish as I would normally. I've also started using calorie count site properly, its scary when you see everything you have eaten in black and white, even though I feel I haven't had a lot today it all mounts up!!
I'm about to put my Davina DVD on and do some abs and legs work, when I looked in the mirror this morning I was looking far too wobbly, not a good look especially first thing!
Have a happy healthy evening all xxxx
All the coffee in Columbia won't make me a morning person...

Yayyyyyyyyyyyy - lost 2lbs!!!!! I am soo chuffed. WW scales were only 1.2lb over my home scales though, so will have to be extra careful this week. I may reach my 10% next week, fingers crossed.
Shazzle - Best year 69! Always puts a smile on my face when I'm asked my date of birth!
In a much better frame of mind now, so hope everyone else has a good weigh in and a good week to come.

Well done taffy - 2lbs is a great result!
I went to the gym tonight for my 8 week assessment although it is well over 8 weeks tbh. Good news though, I am now 29% body fat with a target of less than 28% so nearly there! Also only have to lost a couple more kilos to be target weight. :j
Trouble is I have started eating like a pig again and am getting the taste for chocolate and cakes.
Got to get back on track as I really want to reach my targets.0 -
Thanks Dragon & Rotherham Lass. It feels so good to actually lose weight, it's been so long! lol.
Don't fall off Rotherham Lass, you're nearly there, try WW cakes or choc biscuits, not exactly the same, but they aren't that bad. Good luckNeed to sort my life out! :T0 -
