    Evening all xxx

Another day done and dusted, I think I've done quite well food-wise today (apart from a handful of doritos which were my fella's so they don't count!) I've done zilch exercise though apart from walking to the kitchen or bathroom but we're going shopping tomorrow so that will be my exercise, carrying bags is a form or aerobics I'm sure :D

binkyboo - I'm glad someone else is in the same boat as me, if i worked in an office I'd be climbing stairs and all sorts all day, as it is I live in a poky flat and work mad hours so its hard to fit much exercise in.

lizzie dripping - well done on your loss, I registered with that site but still haven't used it :( Maybe it will turn out to be the motivation that I need.
All the coffee in Columbia won't make me a morning person... :D:p

coffeeholic : because i have a 18 month old i have to get up as early as 6 some days and i have found this a good hour of the day to fit some exercise in before doing anything else. then i'll work from 7 till about 11am then break for a while to get my daughter off to sleep i would then have some more free time for exercise if i was up late in the morning. then back to work for the afternoon. i then have time in the evening once she is in bed for the night to go for a swim or something. I find having lots of exercise dvds at home very helpful as it is so easy to stick on on and get jumping around and you can spend as long or as little doing them as your day will allow.
I am lucky to have my gym and pool at the bottom of my street so it doesn't take much motivation to get me there but for times when my partner works late or i don't have childcare the dvds do the trick to get me off the sofa. a current fave is davina's super body workout its hard work but i think it is fab!

Okay, I was doing pretty well...

    Breakfast- Toast
Lunch- Pasta shapes and mini sausages from a tin, not the best thing ever I admit, followed by an apple, a satsuma and a yoghurt
Dinner- omelette with aubergine, red peppers, tomatoes and mushroom with butter beans

No snacks but lots of cups of tea :)

The problem was when my housemate gave me some searside rock and I ate it. All of it, only a small stick but still, not good, and a double dip, though they are only 80 calories

Not too bad but not too good either :)

morning everyone, hope you are all getting set for another virtuous day on the diet and exercise front!
busy day today seeing family and entertaining little ones, going to give the pedometer on my iphone a try and see how close i can get to 10,000 steps.
cornflakes with semi skimmed milk for breakfast
probably a sandwich for lunch if i'm out
dinner will be pasta with home made veggi sauce - normally grated courgette, chopped mushrooms, sweetcorn and a carton of chopped tomatoes with garlic and olive oil. I love pasta so having a low calorie sauce like this means i can have a bit more pasta!
hopefull will manage to fit something else in today, either a swim or another hour of a dvd.
    good luck for wednesday!

    Morning all..
Ever start a job and really wished you hadnt?? Last night ended up like that... I thought "I have 20 minutes to mow the lawn" Ummh left it a bit long so needed to strim first them mow.... one hour later!!! Then looked about and ended up spending about THREE hours gardening!! So much for the gym....
Diet was ok with a jacket spud (I bought a £4 sack so may live on them!!) and beans, a WW pud and a bacardi and diet lemonade treat (well I was in the garden!! lol)
Just had poached egg, beans and toast, with ww tortellini, free tom sauce and salad for lunch.
Tea...another Jacket and perhaps a free veg curry if I get time... GYM FOR SURE, maybe spin maybe boxercise?? then Body Combat.........

Hi Dragon - yeah the wedding's in Mexico (fingers crossed anyway!) - it's my big bro, and attendance was optional - but there's no way I'd have missed it! it is expensive - but it'll be worth it, we lost my dad last year - so methinks a nice family holiday is just what the doctor ordered! :D

It probably is a bit selfish of him, but you only live once and all that

    xx
  • Hello, hello lovely losers!!

How are ye all today? I'm full of the joys today - and I dunno why!! ;) I had to get up more than an hour earlier than normal this morning - and yet I feel more awake than I have in months?

I'll not complain though - foodwise I've been pretty good so far this week - next step is to get my sorry backside back to the gym! So that's tonights mission - either a swim or a class - and I'm even gonna venture onto the treadmill (which if I'm honest scaresme just a little bit!! ;))

Happy slimming everyone - hope you all have a good day!!

    xx

Family - that's different, a friend of mine expected 50 people to pay their own way to the Maldives for hers! I told her where to go on that idea :rotfl:
