another day already, I know i keep telling myself this but i must increase my exercise! was all motivated to do loads yesterday and then only managed half an hour of sit ups and stuff so really need to get some cardio and weights in today at some point. I have a busy day working today and a phone meeting with my boss though so not sure when i will fit it in.
food wise today i shall hopefully be too busy to think about snacking. I am aiming for my 18 weight watchers points again and my new additional challenge is to up my liquid intake considerably.
At the moment i am lucky if i manage to drink 2 glasses of liquid all day! i suspect that if i manage to increase this to reccommended levels then i might lose some water weight i have been holding in reserve because my body thinks there's a drought!
    Have a good tuesday everyone.

Hi Tara, glad to see you back - jet ski sounded like fun! Your braver than me .
Just thought i'd pop in (as i don't usually during the week!!) just to say hi.

Managing to stay good this week so far. it's my TOTM, but not been craving 'naughty' food  for some reason.
As the car had a flat tyre on saturday we walked into town in the morning, and around the park.
Went swimming in the afternoon with DD, while hubby fixed the tyre and DS was asleep.
Went to a BBQ in the evening and walked to that aswell!
Sunday walked into town again with the kids and home via the park again.
So far this week not had the car, so have done the school run (as it's walk to school week here) on foot and been into town aswell. So, if this carries on, Hopefully, will lose the 2lb i need to lose to make the 7lb for this challenge!!

Sorry for the long post, i should be packing or something, not done a thing yet, only the washing!!

Will leave you all now, got an hour or so before i have to make lunch to get SOMETHING done!!

See you all on friday after my weigh in!
    xx

Hi everyone:hello: well it's been awhile last week i stayed the same, but weigh in today & i lost a 1lb. The thing is i know i can do better, i go away in sept, & because i've put on so much w8, not many clothes fit me now & i can't afford to buy new, which is prob a good thing as i'd have to go up a size & i'd grow even more !:o.
I was disappointed last week when i stayed the same, but being honest with myself , i was still eating too much sweet stuff, so this week i cut down on buying the junk
What gets me so angry with myself, about 6yrs ago i lost 3st & kept it off for 2years, i was a size 10 on top & 12 on bottom, then i got into a r/ship & probs started & when i'm down i start eating! but i got out of the r/ship:j. But it's been hard getting into the right mindset ever since, p'haps using the w8 to hide behind so i wouldnt get into another r/ship.
But i've given myself a swift kick up the backside to get me motivated:D
Sorry for rambling on, take care everyone & good luck .

Afternoon all, hope you're all well xxx

Had a nice lazy lie-in this morning. We found a message on answerphone from mum-in-law asking us to come and walk the dog as they'd both been called into work. We were out with her for about an hour and half so lots of exercise and fresh air (and rain ) I have to tackle the bathroom today, layers and layers of dust and muck all over. I'm sure cleaning and housework is cardiovascular :p so I won't have to do a dvd later.

One of our neighbours is moving to Australia with her boyfriend and is looking for someone to take on her dog as it's too expensive to take him with them, so we might be getting a new addition. He's only a little thing which is just as well as we only have a 2 bed flat, but daily walks means more exercise which can only be a good thing for getting rid of my wobbly bits. :D

Have a fab day everyone xxxxxxx

All the coffee in Columbia won't make me a morning person... :D:p

Just thought i'd bump this to the first page.
11 days of may to go and i'm starting to panick now with still 5lbs to lose to reach target!
i measured myself last week as well so i can make sure that if i'm not losing weight maybe i am going down in inches instead i was 34 in waist 40 in hips and 25in thigh.
it is next weigh in tomorrow so going to be extra good today drink my 8 glasses of water, no snacks and lots of exercise.
I have a telephone meeting with work this morning so hopefully dd will be taken out by grandma and grandad which might give me some free time for exercise after the meeting as i would really like to go for a swim. we shall see anyway.
    how is everyone else doing?

I'm doing particularly badly binkyboo, for the second month running my weight has gone UP , but hopefully the thing causing the stress (and the not eating and the increased pain etc!) is now sorted out and I can get well and truly back on track!

This is the first month for me since january that my weight has started to go down not yo yo and i can only see that it is my increase in exercise that has achieved this, so i can imagine how hard it must be when you can't exercise and are having to lose weight by diet alone. i hope that your stressful situation is resolved soon and i'm glad you are aiming to get back on track and i hope we hear very soon that you are feeling better.

Thanks binkyboo - I sometimes just feel like throwing the towel in but I'm too stubborn for that :rotfl:
