Hi everyone happy fridaaay! :j
Feeling tons better today, am pain-free and happy because I have a week off work. Managed to drag myself out for a walk yesterday as the weather was lovely and warm and sunny. Today is a different story though, its been bucketing down since this morning so its strictly indoor exercise today.
Wow poshstock well done on your mega weight loss, have a great holiday!!
Dragon hope you're feeling pain free very soon
Happy Birthday Taffy for Sunday, have a brill day
NTL - I've become a little bit obsessed with the calorie counting site, have downloaded the toolbar as well so the eat meter is always glaring at me. I find it really useful to note down everything that I eat, cos if left to my own devices I'd be stuffing anything and everything down there. I've also become one of those people who scan the packaging to see how many calories are in food before buying, shopping on wednesday took about an hour extra :rotfl:
Hope you all have a fab weekend whatever you do :beer:All the coffee in Columbia won't make me a morning person...

Well done poshstock, that is fabulous, I bet the holiday is a big motivator.
Dragon, that sounds horrible! You are very brave and I think you deserve your fruit pastilles
I haven't been very good the last 2 days, one of my work friends had a sudden bereavement so there has been a lot of comfort food floating around. I am trying to make sure I eat my healthiest food first and then stopping when I am full, not sure I am good at doing the second bit thoughGod is good, all the time

Today was my weigh in day and no change, and considering it was totm this week I'm not totally surprised. Onwards and upwards though, my clothes are definitely starting to feel looser so I'm losing inches if not lbs so its all good.
I'm off work next week so I'll be able to fit in a lot more exercise so am hoping to see a loss for my next weigh-in.
Have a good Sunday everyone xxxxx

cannot believe the weekend is over already! i succummed to wine and a curry on friday night but i did share the curry and rice so only half portions there and i had popadom instead of nan bread so not as bad as it could have been.
saturday i was exhausted cos my dd was up at 3am  so no exercise done but was fairly good on the food side of things.
yesterday i managed an hour of a dvd but i really want to step it up this week and see some serious results so i am going to try and fit in 1.5 hours of exercise a day and try and do a week of weight watchers so i am on 18 points a day. Only 13 days of may left and only 2lbs lost so need to lose 3lbs this week if i'm to have a chance of losing half a stone by the end of the month.
Hope everyone else is doing well and had a lovely weekend.0 -
Hello all! I'm back...
So my PC had a problem and was out of action for two weeks (sob) and then I went away on hols (hurrah) and now I'm back to the good ol' wet weather (boo). I haven't read through the rest of the thread yet but just thought I would post quickly to say that I weighed in at 58.3kg this morning (about 9st2lbs). I only lost 1.3kg on holiday despite eating very healthily!! But I guess a loss is a loss, and it will spur me on to keep going.
It's good to be back after such a loooong absence! How have y'all been?

I have been rubbish this weekend, totm is my excuse.
Have made a healthy lunch for today and tomorrow though so that is a start, and will try not to snack. It's the exercise part I am really bad at, especially in this weatherGod is good, all the time

Morning all hope you're having a better Monday than me!!
Had a dentist's appointment first thing, was prodded and scraped and made to bleed and charged £16 for the privilege! :rotfl: I have gingivitus now apparently, lucky meee so I have to do proper brushing and flossing before it gets any worse and turns into gum disease which freaked me out. I went shopping in town to buy some bits and pieces as OH has man flu, and accidentally ended up buying crisps and choccieswhich I have now eaten and feel sick.
I've got sausages and veggies to bung in the slow cooker for tea tonight and gonna punish myself with housework. Just as well I have a week off, I think we're living in filth.
Welcome back Tara. Hey a loss is a loss, at least you're moving in the right direction. I seem to be stuck where I am at the moment and its driving me mad, my scales must be broke!!
Good luck all for this week
