Shelvis - I really feel for you. Hope your hubby makes a good recovery.

OH still in hospital. On intensive steroids for 7 days. If doesn't work then they are proposing surgery. Don't have the full story on that yet though.
Seems to be receiving great care, after the "carp" he had to endure on his last two stays in hospital. Much better being on the Surgical ward.

Have to say mine and OH's extended family have been great at stepping in an looking after DS, along with my best mate. Have no idea how people cope who don't have the support we have. Every one is arguing over who can look after DS next.

Labour Vibes to all those that need them.

Oh, and the internet seems to have packed in at home. And i can't get round the stupid TV to were the router is, coz bump gets in the way. Not that i would even know what to do to it, even if i could reach it! Probably the classic switch off and on. Laptop says it has a cable out. But not been near it to pull one out:confused:. I am so not technical. Need OH for this one.

So can't get on here in evenings and weekends. :(

Just back from MW - it was the nice one wooohooo! :j
Apparently baby's head is about half way engaged (she said it was just over 3/5th so frankly 1/2 way :)) and she's laid perfectly at the moment - my BP is slightly high but not enough to worry about and baby's HR is fine - she got a bit grumpy about being poked as always but that's normal for her :)
Strict instructions about calling the delivery suite if I don't feel 10 movements a day and eat hot curries, do plenty of walking and stock up on pineapples... :)
If no movement by next friday they are coming out on friday for a sweep and stretch - apparently they are not allowed to do them until 41 weeks here :(
As the nice MW isn't working that day I will apparently have a lady called Ruth... who is danish! Result!!! :D
Oh well - off to encourage DH to go for a walk before sending him off for curries...

Ok random question, did any of you ladies ever get the feeling like you had a mobile inside you ringing on vibrate every so often, but subtly?

I have been getting this all week, initially though my phone was going off in my bag, but no then though it was somethin downstairs at work coming up through my seat, but also no. Not sure if the baby could be vibrating like a mobile on vibrate???? So far not definitely felt the bellyferret so thought I'd see if this was a common thing or if I am just a weirdo

Yay on the engagement Tine... Think 41 weeks is pretty standard for the sweeps then...

Hubby's bringing me a curry tonight too... I could of cooked now the oven is fixed but quite frankly couldn't be bothered... Plus Aimee's got her friend coming to play in a minute and her Mum will pick them both up a happy meal on the way round so no need to cook for them... I've given up on pineapple... I just don't really enjoy them enough to eat that many... Oh, and I'm running out of raspberry leaf capsules... Might substitute them for evening primrose seeing as I have some here... I'm sure my uterus won't 'un-tone' itself before I go into labour...

Hubby's still convinced tonights the night... I'm a little sceptical myself... Although my bill hicks' (our new nickname for them) have been on and off today, some have been uncomfortable and some have been not... Which is odd in itself... They're usually all uncomfortable...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

evening ladies and bumps! there must be some new arrivals very soon - makes me feel like I am getting a teensy bit further along and cluster is safer with each day that passes.

last night in s e asia tonight - this time tomorrow I will be travelling home to DP for much missed hugs and belly rubs (not euphenisms for something else - but missed that too!)

Still haven't got a letter for booking in appointment or scan and 11 weeks today. Is booking in normally before or after the scan? Am sure my useless new GP told me it was before but as sending a referral letter was beyond possobility for the best part of 4 weeks, she probably has that wrong. When I asked if I could just refer myself to antenatal she said not it had to come from them but is that really the case?

    sleep well all!

Mine was at about 8 weeks then scan at 11 weeks. I had to make my own booking appointment as the midwives are separate from the GP surgery for me. I think it is usually before as sometimes you make the scan appointment or the midwife does after that.

I can't remember who was asking about mat clothes earlier but there's some bargains on here:

    Afternoon ladies and bumps!

I had a lovely visit from 1 of my sisters this afternoon who had some belated birthday pressies for me. :D
I had a maternity Tshirt, a lovely oak photo frame with 3 appatures (sp?) for baby pictures, (Although she had suggested having pictures of my 3 sisters in there instead!) And, best of all 10 giant Marshmallow Flumps wrapped in ribbon (2 of which were scoffed straight away!)

Just did my first ever Kiddicare order - I am guessing it will be the first of many. Most surprisingly, I actually remembered to use Quidco for something!

    thanks lizzie!

I think I am feeling doubly frustrated as I am away from home too as well as being a paranoid first timer! what really annoyed me is that in week 5 I was ill with a possible ectopic which was the week before I moved and even though I told them the gp this, she seemed quite dismissive, I know it wasn't ectopic but I can't see how she didn;t see my general anxiety. Added to that I have borderline high blood pressure and she knows that as saw me a number of weeks before she apparently actually sent the referral letter.
