ooh krystal I hope ur not thinking of my earlier post re the kettle
    :p
Aless - I'd say it depend on ur body/bump shape really
I've only got 3 actual maternity pieces - 1 jeans from mothercare (£25ish), 1 jeans from next sale(£12) and one mat/BFing top from mothercare (£??)
I don't work so haven't needed and smart trews but I got all mine from mothercare last time as they had best fit for me, I'm living in t-shirts from sainsburys £5 for plain £6 for patterned they're in my usual size but loose fitting and really soft.
If ur tall I suggest H&M they're trousers are almost as long as I am tall :p

Isn't worried about being 40+2... That was just when I've been offered a sweep for...

I'm not to worried about going over this time actually although with Aimee I had a real fear that if I went over she would die... She came the day after she was due so at least I wasn't worrying about it... Maybe this time my lack of fear is a sign of a long wait lol...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...

    I misunderstood.

It seems very early to offer a sweep? Wonder why they offer it so early? After all, depending on your cycle you may not be naturally due until later than 40 weeks. It's not an exact science.

Someone in my family is what you would call an undesirable and has caused massive amounts of grief for everyone over the last year, he seems to get away with murder, working under the table, driving any old car around, almost always a few pints in his belly at all times of the day. Ive had enough and am gonna report what I know but does anyone else have any suggestions.
do you have any proof to provide as in physical proof that you could offer the benefit fraudy peeps or police?
on the drink driving if u ever know where he is/going and the car details the police would be more likely to get on the case.
If u want to know anything specific about police I'll ask my MIL if u PM me what u wanna know (she is a police sarge):D

Skinty - I've got that post bookmarked :D ur a very handy lady :p
its such a shame when people are too ignorant/arrogant to actually listen to what is involved
My only slight worry for you is that you will be putting yourself under too much pressure to do all of these things but as I don't know the 'real' you I can't really comment on whether you will manage it but I really hope u do succeed xx

Aless i got quite a few bits off ebay, most shops dont have a very good work wear range and the sizes are completely wrong!! I wish i had bought some black trousers earlier on though cos i got very sick of wearing the same 2 pairs i had and one of them were very unflattering. So try as i did to be very mse it will get you down wearing the same every day so make sure you like them, order loads and send back whats no good.

Skinty, pct policy is not to offer a sweep until 40+7... But that would mean the mw would have to pay me a special visit so I think she offered it early to save her coming out to me at home... I don't like the woman anyway...
