Wouldn't be so bad but all he literally had to do was slide one cupboard over 6 inches and slide that one into place... If I wasn't 9months pregnant I'd of done it myself... The way it's going I shall be slinging it up the garden as soon as I'm able and setting a match to it!

And hubby's not allowed to go buying furniture on his own anymore...

hey, I have a MSE-query, hehe. In your experiences, where are the cheapest places to get maternity clothes? is it eBay? I know you can usually get tons of baby clothes at boot sales, but what about maternity?

Went for a KFC randomly at 11am, was strange to eat a chicken burger as breakfast but the baby wanted it so what can you do :rotfl:

Sorry Krystal, I hate being 'not allowed' to do things, i know its for the best but its very very frustrating!!

Someone in my family is what you would call an undesirable and has caused massive amounts of grief for everyone over the last year, he seems to get away with murder, working under the table, driving any old car around, almost always a few pints in his belly at all times of the day. Ive had enough and am gonna report what I know but does anyone else have any suggestions.

Aless, I got a couple of bits off eBay and a couple of bits from the sale pages of my catalogue... But I'm a fat bird so don't fit into anything from new look or peacocks... And Dorothy perkins had 2 tops and 1 pair of trousers in my size when I went in and I didn't like any of them...

Dawn, cat is really well ty for asking He's not quite as fussy and needy as he usually is but that could just be an age thing more than the accident though...

Hubby just replied to my very angry text to apologise and tell me he has butterflies and do I think it's a sign... I said its probably more likely butterflies in anticipation of the beating he's going to get when he gets in... (that's a joke obviously...)

Sometimes I think that the only reason so many men don't get smothered in their sleep by their pregnant partners is that by the time we get to the point where we want to do it we just don't have the energy.

I'm cleaning. If he goes through the f'n bin again to make sure I'm not throwing out anything he really needs I'm going to rip his head off. A collection of recipes for frozen peas does not count as essential.

A typical conversation in our house goes like this:

Him: You can't do that you're pregnant...
Me: I carried a chest of drawers up the stairs when I was 8 months pregnant with Aimee...
Him: Yes but you were on your own then, you have me to do things for you now...

I wish he would do all the bloomin things I've asked him to do... Then I wouldn't have cupboards falling on me!

hugs to Sugarspun. I'm with Sami on the intervention - you could go a little longer and see if baby comes out naturally, especially as that sounds like it's what you'd want?

Someone else was worrying about being 40+2 - Krystal? - I'd definitely not be worrying yet hon.

I had a doula come round today. She is very sweet but only 26 and I'm not sure I gelled with her 100 per cent. I have another coming Monday so am reserving judgement for now, but I know I do want someone there to help me so am going to have to find the right person somehow!

Last night a friend heard about my plans for Lotus and Ec. She is not into anything natural and was really disgusted! She said she wouldn;t visit me then as my house will smell!!! I told her she didn;t have an invitation anyway! Thankfully my other friend was there who is v supportive of my natural plans so she backed me up. I mean, it's my choice.
