Maybe there are more underlying problems with yours and your flatmate's compatability and this loss has just brought it all to light and into the open more ... ?

    hi there, me again,
i personally would have a chat with her and say whats on your mind, when im feeling low or down then i have to say what im thinking.
just be yourself, sit her down and say all thats going on with you, you need to clear the air,
are you getting any sleep now at all? i do feel for you and i just wish i knew what words to say that could help you?
does it help chatting about it? i hope so,
lots of love to you lauraxx

Yorkie - possibly. We have been living together for 15 years though. We are like brother and sister and I do alot of looking after, so I think the fact she isn't really responding to my needs, is because i'm like the big brother. But that's another story for another day! I understand she has to deal with it in her way, but I just don't need it in my face as much. She means no harm, she just doesn't think most of the time.

Laura - One thing we don't really do is talk. It tends to build up until I explode. I'm trying to be patient. She's been a bit better today, although i'll never be able to talk about Paws with her.

I am sleeping a bit better now. I tell myself that all 5 cats are in my room at night. 4 physically and Paws in spirit, probably in her favourite spot. It helps if I believe that.

Chatting/typing helps. The tears have dried up for now, just the odd occasion I let some tears out, notably if I have to talk about her. The rest of the time is just sadness and hoping she's okay, although I think of her all the time.

Thanks for your kind words, they are appreciated.
