Ok I'm p!ssed off with Natwest!

Went to close one of my accounts and they told me I was due interest shortly and they couldn't close the account until they gave it to me. So they withdrew the 1p interest which made my account -£0.01. They told me the account is now closed.. fair enough.

Today I logged into online banking and noticed the account is still listed, and they've only gone and charged me £28 for being overdrawn and took the charge from one of my other accounts with NatWest.

Those b@stards are going to get an earful first thing tomorrow morning.

That is a pain in the a$$! That will bring your internal score down! Are you keeping any accounts with them?

I have a current account and a savings account with them at the moment. I originally had 2 current accounts but still trying to close one of them, or rather I thought it was closed.

I'm always in credit. My savings account has £2000 in it. This error is completely unacceptable, even though I'll get it refunded, it's an inconvenience and wastes my time going into the branch to sort it out (not to mention having to pay to park outside their branch!).

Their actions tomorrow will determine whether I'll be moving my money elsewhere. It's not my main bank so I have nothing to loose by going elsewhere. :rotfl:

I'm going to try my luck and ask for my parking fees to be reimbursed.

    Good evening everyone.

I'm going into HSBC tomorrow and ask them about opening a HSBC Plus account.

I can't get any credit card yet as non of the sub prime lenders search only Equifax.

I'm still loving my iPhone, I would of waited until Orange and Vodafone release it to see if the price changes, but reading a few posts on here, it seems the price is set by Apple not the Networks, so I didn't bother sending it back.
