I went into a vodafone shop this morning. Originally, he guy said 'We do not allow contract to be cancelled'. After a lot of moaning, it's now all cancelled. :)
That's a bit of worry of my mind.

NID any suggests on what to do if Equifax are failing to respond to my online dispute? I have allowed the 28days for them to contact the lender however the lender failed to respond so they have said they want another 28days. Is this acceptable concidering my CF is showing a debt collection search, incorrectly

Is this the same one where you have confirmation from the DCA/Trace Agent that it's not you? If so, send it in to Equifax. If not, then simply email one of the top dogs, such as Paula Cloney..... but to be fair, if the lender doesn't get back to them usually after 14 days they will remove it pending the lenders answer (I say usually in the loosest possible way mate lol).....

So go back to them and insist it is removed pending investigation as it is having an adverse effect on your ability to obtain credit which can result in you suing them for Libel - because you've already appealed it in line with their own processes and they failed to respond. Its also a breach of DPA (1st schedule) and (for the DCA) CCA 1974 :D

I lowered my Kays credit limit from £800 to £300 yesterday. My Kays account will be the next to be closed and I remembered it could take a few months for it to be marked as Settled on my file.. so I figured I would lower my limit now so I have less credit available to me. That way, I won't have to wait months for it be marked as Settled before applying for any other credit cards.

Hopefully my next Sygma card will have a nice healthy limit. I'm aiming for a credit limit of around £4000 by next June.

  • Good for you. Will keep my fingers crossed your new shiny Sygma card starts off with a good limit:)

I am awaiting my new Sygma card too not to bothered about the limit.

Just had a look at my Littlewoods account and they have just upped my limit to £1200,me thinks I will be asking them to lower that,I have no intention of spending that, just to tempting at this time of year.So will give them a call later to reduce it too.
Credit Cards, Vanquis £3000 Capitalone £1500
    Accessory(sygma) £1250
    Littlewoods £2900,Very £1600

Remember catalogue accounts waste available credit so when you start to get more cards, you need to start dumping the catalogues! So, in a nutshell when you start to get credit, open a couple of catalogue accounts to get the green [0]'s but once you get a credit card or 3! then you start to request minimal limits on the catalogues as it wastes your available credit which could be the difference between an accept/decline when you make an application somewhere!

So you do right by reducing your limit, you'll never want to spend £1200 on a clubby anyway lol

Passed my motorcycle theory test today. :D I'm going for the car one also, in a few weeks.. while it's still all fresh in my memory.

Compared to the other tests I get at college, the theory is a piece of p*ss.
