I went. The store said closures department is closed today and to come back tomorrow. I might take an hour off work to get it sorted.
I had a phone with Vodafone which I was able to return and cancel the contact because it was ordered over the phone however Vodafone were a nightmare to deal with but I got it sorted.0 -

Their policy is not to accept returns if you purchased it from a store, but I'm just playing on the 'I can't get reception in my house'.
I'm really hoping they'll cancel it tomorrow, otherwise I'll sell the phone on eBay and have to fork out £500. It's an expensive mistake.0 -

That's right, so you walk in and say 'Hello, I got this phone on contract Saturday, took it home, charged her up and alas - no signal. As such, i'd like to cancel cos i've since been told that Orange/o2/T-Mobile (you choose) is best for my area and so will unfortunately have to sign a contract with them'.
'However, if you do get better signal in the future i'll come back to you then.'
Notice, you're telling them - not asking! It is not a request mate but an order - you are directing them, in line with your consumer rights, to cancel the contract due to no signal. If they ask funny questions just say 'I can only get 1 signal bar, so I went out for a walk and tried to get a better signal and still it wouldn't move. It kept flickering between 1 bar and no signal which is no use to me. I rely on my mobile!'.I'm really hoping they'll cancel it tomorrow, otherwise I'll sell the phone on eBay and have to fork out £500. It's an expensive mistake.
No it is not because you can cancel and you need to be firm! Don't ask - tell them!

14 days return policy from stores. I think it is the law, and this is where most customers can exercise their right to return them and contract cancelled (minus usage already used) as long phone plus box is in good condition.I just spoke to them on the phone. The lady said their is a 7 day return policy over the phone but she's not sure of the return policy in store, however it's best to just go in there and tell them your situation and they'll tell you what they can do.
I'll shoot in there in a moment.0 -
