thats interesting - they declined me and I have a landline but its not in my name - could that be why they said I didnt meet their criteria? Hmm. Cap 1 had no problem with it

Theres no way they would know if your phone line is registered in your name or not.

Your phone line could be registered in Santa's name for all they care, as long as they can still reach you on it.

    Guys need some advice.

Concidering my recent stroke of luck with Aqua I am thinking of applying for Barclaycard Inital & Capital One.

HOWEVER - Due to me either having a popular name or because of my incorrect linked addresses ( Not showing ) I have three searches on my report from DCA's.

Do you think I should wait until these searches are removed before I apply?

My concern is that if I apply and it gets reffered they underwriter will see these "Debt" searches and decline me.

Or will my application auto reffer because of these searches?

What's the difference between these two cards please? Which is the most likely thatsomeone with adverse credit can get and are they affiliated with any of the big banks/finance companies.

I think that USUALLY Vanquis is this easiest followed by Capital One & then Aqua.

Aqua belongs to the Halifax group

I think I read somewhere that DCA searches for outstanding debt will cause either a decline/referral with certain credit providers, also these searches take 24 months to be removed, unlike the normal 12 months!
