And have they overturned it mate?

p.s. phone number doesnt affect general credit scores so that was a lie lol.....
It wasn't declined it was reffered but yes they did accept it.

What do you mean it was a lie? He said to me that when they checked my landline it flagged some issue, I informed him that I have changed my landline and gave him another one ( Not in my name )
I think they can check active landline numbers.

yes, that is correct; a company called ACORN I think provides the service.

edit: Not Acorn, can't remember the name of the company but the service is called reverse number lookup.
Bit like doing a whois on an IP Adderss.
    ACORN provide demographic data etc.

Just got off the phone to another DCA chasing me. Apparantly all of these incorrect links have been created by a company called KEYS ( Fraud agency who report to CRA's) How do I contact them?

Although these links are not showing on my file, I have been advised by the DCA that when searching my report they can see the links

Yea, ACORN is the demographic data (i.e. postcode lottery for snobs/paupers) but what I mean is the phone number is not usually 'checked' (checked as in credit checked) so that part is a lie - obviously as its a subbie card they 'may' call it or something but they do not, as the main, use phone numbers as part of credit scoring - they simply cannot do this.... :D

Yea, they ring your number and ask for you! LOL

It cannot reject you an account though, its not part of any credit scorecard and cannot be a part as it would be unfair acceptance criteria (i.e. I use internet phone so they won't be able to check mine!)....

Yes, they don't use the number for scoring however they can reverse lookup the number to make sure it is in your name, I will find the name of the company providing the service.

But Vanquis will decline you if you do not have a landline. I assume this is just for verifaction though?
