    Well I applied to HSBC for a loan the other day - they said if I go in branch with my most recent credit file, they'll agree it!

    I dont need it, just thought i'd test the water but may go the whole hog and see if they keep to their word! £15k over 3 years! APR offered 10.9% at the time (we'll see if it materialises).....

    I'll update once I get my credit file to branch!

    Excellent - did you have to appeal or did it go through after the weekend then? Thats good - well done! (what limit/apr then?) :j

    * Is it issued by the old GE Money lot (Santander?) :confused:

    No appeal I just called them for update and was told that I was accepted. The card is issued by Ikano Financial Services and the APR is 28.9% which does not matter because I will pay in full.

    The credit limit is only 100 pounds but I think that a starter credit limit.

    Mate tell em to keep it and get the HSBC card now :D
    I wish! I have too many searches for HSBC to accept me (Well at least with my low bs anyway!)

    Cap one declined me a few months ago and on my appeal letter it says because of my financial links ( Now removed )

    Should I re-apply?

    I found out why my Aqua app reffered.

    * Home phone number
    * Bank Details
    * Undisclosed linked address

    Landline Number
    I am really impressed that they spotted my landline number had changed. I used my old one that I have used on all previous apps as I did not want to flag n hunter lol

    Bank Account
    They wanted to confirm that it wasn't a joint bank account? And that it was my details?

    Linked Address
    I moved some credit accounts to another address ( Temp ) then moved back home. This created a link (Genuine one though) so when it asked for time at address I said 11 years when if you look at time from when I moved my accounts back its like 2 months lol
