Toyota will price guarantee when you sign the contract the price will not increase where as with Citroen the price of a C1 is going up by £120 in July which will be passed on to the customer,
Also 3 year servicing with Citroen is £449 instead of £350 with Toyota,
Another bargaining chip could be ask for more breakdown cover most models I have looked at come with 1 year free AA assistance as standard.0 -

If you've already ordered your Hyundai the price will stay the same? is that right? eeek0 -
What/how do you negogiate on prices when all the small cars are on a waiting list according to the dealers. One dealer has told me he onlymakes £90 on a new pixo.I call that BS,that would not pay the overheads on the showroom.
All manufacturers have put up prices since the scrappage scheme.
£90! wow thats treble what some dealerships are making
with the profit margins on the entry level cars being so small, there just isnt any room to negotiate. then factoring in demand, there is no need to drop prices further, as the cars are already selling. Also as the sales dont count towards target, then there is no need for a dealership to push the cars, other than they may recoup some money in the future from return custom for servicing/mots

nissan Pixo has gone up by £1000 since the car was introduced last month.supposedly due to material costs and the poor £,however as the £ has strengthened we should soon see a price reduction .
Servicing of new cars do not have to be done at a dealership going elsewhere does not invalidate the warranty0 -
mazda 2 ts2 has gone up £300
Yes, I got caught with the price increase. Still 40% deposit and the rest 0% finance over 3 years just about clinched it for me. Took a test drive in a standard TS and was very impressed, so looking forward to getting the TS2.
Got to seek out the best insurance now, I bet that won't be as cheap as is was for my 11 year old banger lol0 -

maybe im naive but i think it's wrong when people have ordered cars in good faith with the scrappage scheme then they put the prices up and pass them onto the consumer because they can't deliver. can't think of anything else this would happen with!
The price and deal I struck with SEAT was ring fenced.Terms & Conditions Apply0 -
